Works great
Excellent for looking at the sun safely. Only issue have to look at the shadow to point at sun , but that?s not the filters fault which works awesome.

Produced good images for solar white light photography, but thin 1000 Oaks glass filter is a bit better. This filter more affordable.

Celestron Eclipsmart Filter
I received the Celestron Eclipsmart Solar Filter for my SCT scope. The filter delivered quickly and was well packaged. I am looking for an opportunity to use it on the scope but visually looking through it at the sun indicates it will work very well. Highly recommended.

Perfect fit!
Fits my 8SE perfectly, just like the cover that came with it. One brief look at the sun, nothing to see but it does filter as it should. Now I'm ready for the next eclipse!

It works well. We hope to watch the transit of Mercury on the 10th but if it is overcast, we still can view sunspots. Unfortunately there are none right now.

Celestron Solar Filter
I enjoyed making my own solar filters for telescopes and binoculars last summer prior to the total eclipse, but for my nice Celestron EdgeHD OTA the proprietary solar filter with the bezel that clicks right into the telescope is really nice. Looks sharp. I tracked the sun all day soon after the filter arrived, and it handled the heat well.

Excellent Solar Filter & Fast Delivery
I purchased this item to go it with Celestron NexStar 8SE telescope. It was precisely what I needed and was extremely useful during the solar eclipse. Now, after the eclipse, I use it regularly when looking at the sun and keeping track of the sun spots. It is a well made product, solid and may last a few years.
