This lens is a perfect blend of the past and present, offering the timeless Cooke Look aesthetic, synonymous with the legendary Cooke Speed Panchro. The design has been adapted and upgraded, featuring modern glass that enhances image quality and durability.

The Panchro/i Classic Prime Lens is color balanced, color matched, and compatible with Cooke 5/i, S4/i, miniS4/i, and Anamorphic/i, making it a versatile addition to your camera kit. It's equipped with /i Technology for frame by frame digital information capture, enabling cameras to automatically record key lens data for every frame shot. This feature allows post-production teams to access vital information such as lens setting, focusing distance, aperture, depth-of-field, hyperfocal distance, and serial number digitally, streamlining production and post-production processes, saving time and cost, and eliminating guesswork.

The lens is expertly crafted using traditional grinding and polishing techniques to achieve the highest level of precision. More insights and measurements are taken than ever before to ensure superior quality. The glass is coated and cemented with minerals evaporated at high temperatures in a vacuum to create a thin film. The edging process ensures perfectly round glass diameters, and each lens is meticulously tested, checked, modified, cleaned, and rechecked before assembly.

The Panchro/i Classic series comprises of 12 Prime Lenses, all optically designed to provide the classic and infamous vintage Speed Panchro look of the 1920's as well as the Cooke Look. The lenses are ergonomically designed for smooth and accurate focus movement, utilizing precision mechanics to provide a consistent feel in operation through the entire focus movement.

The Cooke /I Technology ecosystem provides critical lens metadata such as focus and Iris position as well as individually calibrated lens distortion and shading maps, making it suitable for the most modern VFX applications such as Virtual Production shooting. All Panchro/I Classic series Primes have standardized 0.8 MOD focus and Iris drive gears and feature a fixed common front diameter of 110mm.

Despite their compact size, these lenses are suitable for all shooting applications. All Panchro/I Classic prime lenses are color balanced and color matched, ensuring consistency across the series. The lenses feature a nine-leaf linear module iris assembly, providing an aperture range of T2.2-T22. All lenses have factory calibrated focus scales with clearly identifiable distance marks.
