It's a great gimbal, I got my S and 2 mixed up and thought it had portrait mode but it doesn't. Otherwise, fairly good gimbal all in all. Handles my Z6ii with 85mm very well

A wonderful gimbal for mirrorless and DSLR handheld video. It's easier than most to learn how to maneuver and use the controls. I would recommend it for beginners due to its simple design and use, plus it is fairly simple to balance

I have to take the grip off of my z7 for the gimbal to balance but even after that the arms are just short enough that I can?t tip the gimbal forward because it gets hung up on my view finder. Also I thought it came with a focus ring but it does not. Packaging is misleading.

It works well, but it's not perfect hence the 4 stars. I currently use the Weebill-S with my Fujifilm X-T3 and X-T4, and it works well with their small prime lens set-up. The motor seems pretty strong for this set-up but it does jerk every once in a while for some reason. I appreciate the locking arms which makes balancing the camera on the gimbal fairly easy. It's compact and fits in a backpack with no issues. I was disappointed in the battery life and would recommend to bring a second set of batteries. The threading where the tripod legs connect and where the underslung handle connects DOES NOT stay tight. They tend to start twisting when gimbal is in use. This was very disappointing. I use the quick disconnect on both ends and they always start to twist at some point. Even if I don't use the quick disconnects it still starts to twist. Overall, I would still recommend this product for a compact lightweight set-up over the other brands. Good luck and happy shooting.

I've been using my gimbal for about a month now and it works great. The battery life is amazing and I love the 4 different gimbal modes because they offer me a lot of flexibility. I use the gimbal for my BMPCC4K, and I very quickly realized that I was going to need a counterweight, especially because I have an external SSD plugged into the left side of my camera. Other than that, I have no complaints!

The Weebill-S is a lot of fun to use! This isn't my first gimbal but it is the first gimbal built more for mirrorless/dslr cameras that I have bought. Surprisingly easy to carry, long lasting battery and easy to balance! I would recommend it as a great gimbal to grow your confidence and video skills with!

Works like a charm with my setup: a7r4 + 16-35 GM. There is plenty of space for camera to move without being blocked by the gimbal itself. Motors are powerful enough, so you can zoom in and out with the lens and not worry about re-balancing. Overall movements are smooth and well stabilized. Grip ergonomics is really nice, so you can shoot from the different angles and holding it for a long time. The only downside is that the gimbal is not fully compatible with sony cameras (no controls of the focus or aperture/shutter speed/iso from the gimbal itself).

Finally a gimbal that lets me be comfortable hauling it around. the size is perfect as its not too big. the handle is comfortable and the controls work well with my fujifilm after the recent update via firmware. most problems i've seen with the gimbal is user error. i'd recommend this gimbal for anybody interested. I love it!

This gimbal rocks! Definitely research the deeper settings of this though. At first setup it balanced to a slightly tilted to the left angle. Easily corrected with some menu adjustments. If you’re using Sony, check YouTube for how to hack it to control your exposure settings.

I was running with a Ronin-S prior to this. This thing is so much better than that beast. The WEEBILL-S is much smaller, much lighter but so much more powerful and diverse. With locking arms, the gimbal is easy to balance. The motors are so much more powerful than other gimbals I have had in the past. The quick release plate set-up is a snap to remove making mounting the camera lightning fast. I love this thing!

The Zhiyun WEEBILL-S Gimbal is first and foremost easy to learn and use. Thats huge when your primary market is prosumers. 2nd of all but just as important is it's compact size..this is The perfect travel gimbal and will fit nicely in all photographers travel back-packs. The ability to not only learn how to balance different lenses but to also to make the WEEBIL- S responsive to your needs as a filmmaker are my favorite things about this game changing product. The thing that needs work is perfecting it for Sony cameras. right now I have to select Panasonic setting to connect to my camera..works just fine as a hack.

The Weebill-S arrived in a small unassuming package, and I had my doubts, but those were erased after getting things going. Let me preface this with - this is my first gimbal. I'd researched competing products and decided that if the reviews and specs were true, this little guy would be a great value. I really appreciate the small form factor. It's been useful in car rides, and in tight rooms where it would be impossible to get larger gimbals. I mounted a Z7 with 24-70 f/4 S and tit handles the weight just fine. If found the foldable tripod legs very useful. I could extend a couple of them and use them as a second grip location for two handed operation. They also make for an easy transition from following a subject to sitting across a table with them. The motor is quiet, and strong. There is no perceptible noise on recordings, and it didn't struggle at all keeping things level. I haven't used it long enough to judge consistent battery life, but it lasted long enough for a day's worth of use without needing to recharge. Calibrating it should help with that. I was also having an issue with the gimbal getting to a certain point then it would jerk back in the opposite direction. I'm guessing calibration may help with that also. I encourage buyers to download the manual, as the one included is too tiny to be useful. Also be aware that the battery compartment does not accept protected 18650 batteries. There is not enough clearance for the height added by the protective chip.

I just got mine a week ago and this has gotta be some of the coolest tech in such a small package, Im only using a fdr ax53 4k Handycam atm but it has made my quality just skyrocket.. Bring this thing anytime I leave the house now.

Very good, compact gimbal. Handles a GH5S + 10-25 f/1.7 with a smallrig L bracket attached. I appreciate the size and performance ratio of this gimbal in the field. Gear that is heavy or bulky to carry I just don’t bring. You can bring this about anywhere, which is the tire value of this gimbal.
