This printer can do most of what the previous model did. That model was better.

Not completely satisfied

Right out of the box the paper feed for the scanner is not working. I will be calling HP for a resolution. The printer is not sturdy and the paper tray is flimsy.

Defective paper feed

Fast, quiet, and good print quality. The fact that it can scan and print legal size as well as letter size is a plus. Not especially thrilled with two sided printing, but other than two sided printing am quite satisfied.

Functional efficient printing at budget price.

I am very disappointed with this printer. It is not easy to set up, sometimes it works, other times it doesn't . Had to get an expert to make it work and then it didn't last long.

Disappointed

I absolutely love this printer. It handles everything I have thrown at it including double sided printing. The document feeder is super nice and loved this feature on my old printer. My old printer was acting up and it did hold up good. So, I decided to purchase another HP because of this and cannot tell you enough about how pleased I am. I have always been pleased with HP though some people leave bad reviews all my HP products have been fantastic. My only complaint with HP is that I wished you supported the parts for longer which would enable me to keep my products even longer.

Many Features! Des all I'm looking for in a printer.

Not only the worst support in my 83 year old memory, but worse than I can imagine with my experience with HP beginning berfore 2000 with a LaserJet II. Not just very hard to set up (I have no printed record of my sales data because the new HP printer failed before I had time time to print it) but impossible to access because HP repeatedly failed to make the connection that it was offering. I shall, however, send this to be printed on my LaserJet Pro MFP 3101--3108 a mile from here, which still works nicely.

Have had serious problems with this printer. It is now messing up my computer as well.

Refurb Printer

This is the 2nd HP Printer that I have had and the last. It rarely connects with my Apple Macbbok ior other devices. So frustrated that I will be adding this to the junk pile soon!

Horrible Printer

Miserable start to using my new printer. It arrived and immediately indicated the magenta ink was not functioning. We spent a very long phone call with HP support. Nothing worked. He said order a magenta cartridge and we can start again. Our objection was, we bought a printer that is malfunctioning. This is not our problem, it is HP's problem. Please send us a magenta cartridge. That was not agreed to until the next day when the Support Manager called us. Now there is another problem for which we will need our 3rd call for Support. Now it is impossible to get to the color cartridges to attempt a replacement of the magenta. Tomorrow 's another day and another call!

Great printer, some scan differences with Apple, you need to open up app and direct it. But easy enough. Our old HP 8600 jet pro did it automatically to downloads.

Set up was difficult and frustrating getting through to a Human to help configure my Printer. Final Software configuration shows a 9120e when the printer is 9125e. Free ink was a Bait and Switch Offer conditional on the signing of a purchase agreement for a Monthly Ink Charge System.

A Solid Performer

This printer is very loud when printing however the quality is good when we got the first printer we had a hard time with the setup it never connected to the computer, and I have a Hp they had to send me another printer no problem with the new one

Loud but good quality

This is not a rating for the printer itself. I purchased this online as my "old " HP all in one scanner failed, then the copy went. I had some assistance from an HP agent on line. she was helpful but made the wrong suggestion for a printer that would use the SAME ink cartridges as my old HP all in one. I had several ink cartridges left to use from my Instant Ink subscription and did not wish to start fresh. 
The new printer arrived in a timely fashion but I was unable to connect it to my computer. I contacted HP for help. I was still unable to connect the new printer. The HP Tech took remote control of my computer and eventually advised me my system had 9 Trojans attached to it which was preventing the new printer from working .However, the message on the printer connection attempts advised the cartridges were wrong? . The HP Tech advised he could sell me a "firewall" protection at the cost of $299. US for one year or $400. US for two years to protect my entire system.. ( I do not use wireless or cell phone sync , I am old school ) I was stunned and asked twice more re the costs.. which were confirmed. I declined. After having done research online regarding these Trojans hiding in your system I read multiple reviews over from HP customers being advised they had the same problem and being flogged with the overpriced "firewall" protection. I believe the Trojan issue with my system to be wrong as my own tech , who built and maintains my computer , advised it was impossible to be infected through my particular connection to the internet.
A) The ink cartridges that came with the 9125e were totally different to what I requested.
B) I believe the firewall/ Trojan selling to be a push for huge $$ not necessary if you have a good anti virus system as I do
C) Likely not a bad printer for new connections. I've always had HP. However they seem to be getting cheaper and flimsier by the year in build. Although that is true of most products these days. 
D) The Instant Ink plan I believe is worth having if you are a heavy or even light printer. It did save costs on replacement ink for me.
E) Online staff were excellent. They just couldn't provide me a replacement with my requirements. Still searching for a new printer as the 9125e was returned for full refund with no hassles.

Tech Support for HP 9125e installation a BIG fail

It worked for a few days, then wouldn't print at all. After over 2 hours & 3 techs, it was determined that the print head was defective. 2 weeks later the new part came, with new ink. Instead of being able to keep the original ink cartridges, I was required to return them with the faulty part. I've only printed about 6 pages since replacing the part. Hope that's the ones only problem.

The power cable falls out constantly. I have duct tape holding the cord to the printer.

Power Cored Failure

The screen on the newest HP OfficeJet Pro is nearly impossible to read due to its BLACK background
and very very small symbols. I'm very disappointed. I have to get down on my knees to do anything using the screen.

My recent purchase of the HP OfficJet Pro 9125e and accompanying HP InkJet Supply plan went well. The installation did not go as I expected. The operation of the machine has been superb.

The online HP sales lady was very knowledgeable, kind, and customer oriented. She informed me of various options. I already had an OfficeJet in mind to replace the one I was using since it ran into software issues that proved to be repetitive and nigh on intolerable after about five years of use. Former HP printers lasted nearly 10 years, but the marketing is now of prime concern. 

Upon receiving the product, which came in after 3 days of making the purchase, I ventured to install it based on my knowledge and experience from the one i replaced. However, things just were not going smoothly for me. In short, I just had to call upon HP tech support. The tech support jumped right into action correcting the sketchy installation I had already made, so after about an hour or so, the OfficeJet came to life and started doing its work and has continued to do so without interruption since.

During the dialogue with the HP tech, the issue of my last HP ink purcase was rasided by me. I was assured a refund would be added to the three month free ink supply that would start at the end of the free period. There are two months left on that and one additional for the return and refund of the previous set of cartridges I returned since they do not fit the new OfficeJet.

My next subject with the HP tech had to do with a seemingly forced system of Ink supply. As I only produce x numbers of prints per month well below what the Instant Ink supply system applies and there are times during some months the number of printed pages goes up, I still do not need the ink supply replacements that the HP wants me to use. Therefore, I made suggestions to address a more friendly approach to supplying ink to me. I am awaiting any information on that in addition to confirming that my three months of free ink supply is actually followed up with an addition month that will indicate reimbursment of the set of cartridges from my previous OfficeJet that went unused.

Finally, there was the matter of disposing of the OfficeJet that I stopped using. During the sale process I raised that issue and was assured that a shipment label would be sent to me to send the machine back to HP. Well, after waiting a few days after the new OfficeJet arrived at my house, I inquired. That inquiry turned out to be several days and several calls to various HP offices only to wind up my being referred to carting the machine off to Best Buy. That was most disappointing.

I am extremely disappointed and frustrated with this printer. After 5 hours on the phone with technical ,software, and instant ink support AND $100 LATER , it was determined that there was something wrong with the printer. A replacement was sent. i followed all the instructions exactly for installing the replacement printer and spent another 2 hours on the phone with technical support , I still couldn't get the printer to work. It wouldn't print, wouldn't copy .... NOTHING I'm returning it for a full refund

frustrating set up , Defective product(s)

To be honest the printer does a very nice job when we can get it to work. Since we bought it we have had nothing but problems getting it to print. The printer does not want to connect with the computer on its own. We have had to unplug the power and then plug it back in to get it to work. When it acts up like this even the power button does not work to shut it down. We've called the support line at least 4 times spending at least 60 to 90 minutes each time to resolve the problem. Basically, they say it's our internet connection. We had a HP Office Jet Pro 8710 for many years and never had 1 connection problem. I like the printer, but I wish that our problem could get resolved.
