Is more fiddly than I would have liked. I bought it to fly my stripped down FS5 but the camera was a tad too big (viewfinder hot in the way) which made it almost impossible to balance.

I love this thing. The only thing is that you need to make sure you have the right camera to use with it.

Purchased this gimbal specifically for my C70 kit. The Ronin-S is capable of handling the C70 but requires an additional clamp and counter weight. I like the speed of setting up AND not adding additional weight to what is already a "heavier" set up. The down side I have had is the cable running from the gimbal to the camera. The USB port on the gimbal is extremely loose and prone to loose connection. When reconnecting it will occasionally lock up the camera forcing a battery removal restart. For the price and features this is a decent piece of equipment.

I got this for my Nikon Z6 which it is on the compatible list but I out of all the camera control cables they didn?t have one to usb-c. I ended up buying a little adapter. Once I got it dialed in(it took me awhile the first time), it works perfectly. I spent hours toying around with it and is extremely fun to use. The case it comes in is great too.

I have had this gimbal for about 4 months now and it has been nothing but HEADACHES for me the gimbal randomly shuts off even with fully charged batteries. It also drift left or right when its on the tripod mount on a flat surface. I highly don't recommend getting this gimbal I suggest going else where.

We attempted to use this on a few campaigns but sadly feel like it was money wasted. We shoot with Black Magic Pocket 4K which is well below the rated weight limit for this device but it would crash continually, change to all Chinese (Mandarin?) characters or Just turn off. This cost us WAY too much time on set problem solving and instead switched to the DJI Ronin-M 3-Axis and have had no problems since then. In my opinion this is a low quality product with a lot of gold plating. Your money is better spend on a higher quality product like the Ronin with less bells and whistles like Inception mode! wow! Unfortunately all we can do now is exchange it with Moza so it's money wasted.

The Moza Air is an excellent piece of equipment that has made my life easier. The follow focus is great, especially if you have a BMPCC 4K or 6K!

Moza Air is very good quality product, only thing is a bit confusing to calibrate, some heavy cameras like BMCC might be difficult to calibrate, other than that its good to use with DSLR cameras. I recommend it.

I got this for my Black magic pocket cinema camera 4k, and I'm happy it did - I don't have to rely on LP-E6 batteries as much, since I can use the moza spark tech, and the gimbal can handle what I load on the camera. Make sure to pick up either an offset plate or a cage for the camera though, otherwise you won't be able to mount it.

Some nice new features for a reasonable price but poor support. Mine came prepackaged with a wireless motorized follow focus system which is an add on with the Ronin S. I really like the mounting system which allows me to switch between tripod, slider and gimbal using a Manfrotto 501 compatible QR plate. The way it fastens to the gimbal means that I don't need to rebalance the camera if I take it off and put it back on again. The pan axis locks to keep it from flopping around when not in use but the tilt and yaw axes do not.

Does not come with a hard shell case like the Zhiyun Crane does. Gimbals need to be stored in clean dry cases while it is being kept or transported. You have to buy the case separately and it is not cheap.

Works exactly how adversitied. Had to problem handling BMPCC 6k. Balancing took some practice. But works perfect!

The gimbal is sturdy and works as should. It can hold an impressive payload which is great for bigger cameras. It's a bit larger than other gimbals but the size is necessary for the performance. Overall impressed with the product

Quite a powerful gimbal that gets the basics right when it comes to normal use. Sadly there are things that were promised a year ago that still aren't available like panorama or object tracking modes. Also can't program stepless motion which would be great for product videography. Also they've had a couple firmware updates that have gone quite awry. Still it has a high payload, easy to adjust settings on the fly, and is quite smooth. Just wish it didn't feel like a beta product sometimes.

This gimbal is nice. Smooth operation & holds my P4K WITH the cage. I like that it has power outputs on the gimbal to power my camera. I appriciate the follow focus wheel although I wish it was detachable. It came with a free MOZA M follow focus which is awesome. One quirk about it though, if you want to use the Bluetooth app with the gimbal, you can’t have the follow focus connected first. You have to connect the app BEFORE you connect the follow focus or else the app won’t connect. Maybe firmware can’t fix this. Also, if you power off the gimbal, you have to set your focus start and end point again(bummer). So you may just want to kill the motors instead of powering down the whole gimbal. Overall great value at $550-$600.

I’m using the Moza Air 2 with a BMPCC4K and a Canon 5DS. It does a great job at stabilization with both, though you can’t control any camera functions on the BlackMagic. Hopefully that will be addressed in a future firmware update allowing the Moza to control it via Bluetooth. The optional follow focus motor is highly recommended and works extremely well. The killer feature for BMPCC users is how well this gimbal powers that camera via the 16.8V port. In real world use, I’m getting about 2 hours of shooting with the Moza powering the BMPCC4K, and the focus motor. If you’re not powering the camera, that goes up to about 14 hours. Be aware that there are two revisions of this product—the latest is outfitted with a 16.8V output port, and the older version has a 12V port. The older version won’t work powering the BlackMagic. All that aside, the primary function—stabilization—is on par with anything at this price point.

Don't waste your time watching Moza's "official" videos about how to set up this gimbal. The best video by far is titled "Nikon Z6 Filmmaker’s Kit Tutorial" by Pictureline pon youtube. They explain patiently and better than anybody I've seen. Also if you try to call Moza's helpline you'll get a "this voicemail box is full" message. If you send them an email, you get back a response in broken English in two days. The follow-up question will not be answered. So it's a good product, once you set it up, but I don't see how this company can hold their warranty part of the agreement. Pray that your piece won't break.

Honestly a bit of a pain to set up for the first time and quite time consuming. Plus the quick lock where the batteries go is quite rough to open when the batteries are inside. I needed a coin to leverage and get it to open. when the batteries aren’t in there, it works real easily. Besides that, best gimbal/image stabilizer i’ve ever used. It really does hold the weight unlike others, and you can add other things and when you have awkward angles, it does the job right. It was worth the money. My previous one was ($) a few years back and this is way better. Once you get it running, it’s worth it and it lasts for a long time. I’m very happy with it. If you get the follow focus, my only downside to it is that I wish the attachment connection that allows the follow focus to attach to it would be on the gimbal and not the quick release cuz it prevents the quick release from working on manfrotto gear with it on, which is a bummer. hate switching quick releases.
