This is my 6th drone and 4th Spark. I also have a DJI Air and the new DJI Mavic Pro, besides 4 spark drones.

We've no previous experience, watched a few videos, and the DJI Spark seemed the best item for our wants. Ease of learning and use, features and completeness so we could take it out of the box then go fly. The DJI Spark was all that and then some. The instruction pamphlets although tiny were fine in regards to procedure and related easily due to using our phone for many of the functions. The features are numerous and we haven't used very many although one feature presented itself and that is the Spark's ability to land safely when we...lost control by flying it to the opposite side of the house low, near the ground. So Cool! Video playback and picture quality are great and the elevated vantage points are wonderful. Could not be happier!

The Spark has so many great reviews, that I can't add much, but I'll say that when you need to travel light, this drone does not take much room in your camera bag / carry on - - and you'll get some great footage with it!

So easy to fly right out of the box, however, activation process was confusing and I had to watch a YouTube video to complete it as well as had trouble activating the refresh care. But the drone itself is awesome.

I took it out every evening this week and tried it under a variety of light conditions. It performed very well for the price point. Connecting it to my Samsung Galaxy S9+ and the remote was quick by scanning the qr code with the app. 1/10 of a second shutter speeds in flight were very clear. The included photo is at 1/10 shutter speed, f2.6, iso 519. The shot was at during blue hour on a cloudless evening. The only thing I wish it had was the ability to shoot raw.

small drone that is easy to learn and has great picture quality. If you get it, take it with extra battery. batteries draining fast in cold weather, but if you check the warning on you screen you should have no problem landing before it runs out of power. Would recommend it for first drone flying and photography.

The Spark was my second drone. I previous used the Yuneec Breeze 4K. The Spark is in a whole different category! The video and stills are much better stabilized and the controller allows for much greater flight difference, I am using a bracket so I can use the controller with an I Pad Air. The fly more combo is a perfect was way to get started, since an additional battery and charger is a must. I would recommend adding a third battery! I also have an AC outlet power bank for charging on the go. I highly recommend this item!

This is a small sized drone but packed with lots of nice features. Great for a beginner and advanced flyer. Quality product and solid drone - not cheap or flimsy like others on the market. Flight times are shorter than some - but not really an issue with a max of 16 min.

I used the spark twice, however it came with a missing battery. I returned it and I'm hoping for a replacement. We shall see! Customer service hasn't really helped much.

I recently arrived on-site at a client imagery session and my Phantom 4 Pro+ was dead due to a firmware update gone bad. I had even tested everything the night before successfully, but once I arrived on site the next day, I could not complete the job for the client. That's when I bough the DJI Spark. It is a fantastic drone that I could have used in that situation as a backup drone. It is nimble, quick and fun to use. It also captures great quality imagery in a pinch. I highly recommend the DJI Spark. Call it "sparky" for fun! Enjoy.

Gestures are just plain unreliable. The app is extremely buggy. Firmware updates can be tricky (because the app doesn't work properly). If you can get past all that, it's actually a really nice little drone for the price. I really don't see a reason to get the Mavic instead of this. The camera isn't that much better. If you are worried about video quality, get the P4 pro. The Mavic isn't a huge step up from the Spark. The Spark is cheaper as an initial purchase, and accessories and batteries are also much cheaper. Once they get the bugs worked out, this will be an awesome little toy.

If you have flown any drones you will find the Spark a delight to fly, it is easy and very responsive. The picture quality is excellent The Spark does everything is says it can do. It is important to review the many training films available to become familiar with its many features. I found it is important to use the highest quality and well known micro card. I used an off brand and had trouble with video picture skipping and shifting. When I switched to top quality card everything recorded great
