Please note that lenses with extra long pins can not be mounted with this adapter. This adapter ring fits very well in my Pentax K10D. It fits too well actually since it iis a bit hard to remove. Too hard to remove  to qualify as perfect. But it does the job.

Nice fit

Bought one from Adorama's eBay store front. I initially used a key for a different adapter, and it didn't work very well.Then I used the key supplied and it works. However it took me a few times before I can reliably take it out from my camera. I practiced installing and uninstalling it on my KM and it left a few scratches on the mount and body when I was first trying to uninstall it with the wrong key, no big deal. I am happy that I choose to practice on an old KM rather than my new K-S2.

Does the job, but need some practice on the user side.

Fit and finish are good, the screw holding the lock-in spring protrudes into the threads, but I never intended to keep that spring on in the first place. I'll bet this is the source of some complaints from people who might have just scred it on without looking. No complaints and I got an inexpensive f1.4 SMC 50mm for my Pentax P30T. I shoot manual anyway so it rocks.

Does the job

The adapter came well packaged in a fancy box, but with no instructions. I did not realize you needed a key to remove the adapter from the camera until it was too late and winded up scratching the mount on my camera while trying to take it off.
