While I was shopping around, I saw some reviews mentioning that the driver wouldn't work well with MAC OS. I gave it a try anyway, and it was very easy to set up and tt works pretty smooth so far. I am quite happy with printing and scanning through Wi-Fi with my iMAC and also from iPad.

I bought this printer shortly after it launched in 2024. I was happy to be able to buy a multifunction ink tank color printer. The best feature of this printer is the mega tank ink supply. The printer prints text and simple graphics clearly and well on regular office paper. It feeds paper well through the rear paper feed. It also prints sharp photos on photo paper. Unfortunately that is where the stars stop adding up. This printer does not play well with MacOS and its lackluster AirPrint Driver. Unfortunately Canon has chosen to not provide MacOS drivers so AirPrint is all we get and it does not perform well for me. If you have a Mac, I would steer clear of any printer that does not have its own proprietary drivers as using this printer for scanning and photos is a frustrating experience. Phots are sharp, but colors are not accurate. They are close, but not good enough for me. Scanning is a page by page chore if you are using the flatbed scanner. The printer is slow to print and scan, and is slower than my previous home office multifunction printer. The printer also does not consistently print a document from all our devices like MacBooks, iPads and iPhones so when we go to retrieve a document, we end up sending it to the printer again. I have worked with Canon on this and have confirmed I have a strong wifi connection to the printer so it is not that. I have asked Canon to exchange this printer for a different model and they have not agreed to that. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this printer.

They started the warranty 5 days before the printer arrived. It doesn't come with a CD. My wife's HP laptop can't find it (wireless) to connect to it. I suggest if you're over 60 have one of your grand kids come set it up for you.. They'll need to download the driver and instructions from the internet, because Canon is more interested in cameras.

I have lots of questions but find going through the manual confusing, terminologies that I don't understand. Am unable to hook up to a computer that does not have Internet connection, your tech-support guy worked with me a long time and then put a lot of effort into trying to solve that problem, still no luck. This leaves me in a big disadvantage is that has all of our financial information on it and I need it for tax time. At this point in time I still have a lot of things I'm trying to figure out. Without much luck i.e. double sided printing from the automatic document feeder. When printing from my computers it always has to reconnect which makes printing very slow! I am assuming I will adjust, and learn as time goes on, but I am very disappointed that it is difficult for me to comprehend.

Keeping in mind my Canon PIXMA MG 5320 Printer lasted a little more than 9 years, and never had a problem with it. This Mega Tank PIXMA G4280 is pretty fancy and has a lot of bells and whistles. It is going to take me a while to figure out how to use it more fully if I ever do. When I bought this printer I thought it had a paper tray on the bottom. It does not. The paper supply feeds from the rear of the printer. As with any rear fed paper supply the support that holds the paper in place is a little flimsy side so It is often necessary to check and make sure the paper is set straight so the rollers can grab onto the paper and pull it through. The windows for checking ink levels are too dark to see through. Side to side: 16-1/2" Your printer will need space while it is working. Front to back: about 28" to allow room for the paper support and the paper without interference, and for the little pull-out tray in front to catch the printed sheets. Bottom to top and above: 16-1/2" tall to allow for the paper and paper support to be pulled out fully. All in all it is a pretty nice little printer and it is not too expensive. I bought one full set of replacement ink bottles also not very expensive. It prints beautifully nice and clear edges.

Good printer but has a couple of things I don't like. I miss the paper tray that you could load from the front. I also don't like that I have to take the paper out of the back to feed any other paper.

This printer is easy to set up, prints in great quality, and offers plenty of printing options. I ship a of packages and this printer defiantly keeps up I wish I could connect it to my computer via a USB A cable but it still works excellently!

I received this printer for free in exchange for my honest review, and I have been quite impressed with its performance. The setup process was quick ad straightforward, and the printer connected seamlessly to my Wi-Fi network, making wireless printing a breeze. The printer quality was great and my sheets printed out quickly. It is small enough to fit in my closet and is perfect for an at-home printer.

I have received a free sampleof the MegaTank PIXMA G4280 to review and found right from the start, an easiness to setup (unlike my last printer of another brand which almost got sent to the trash brand new as it was such a pain to setup and use). No hassles, issues, hangups, or problems with assembly/ setup.I love the extra large tanks for ink as I now need to worry less about running out of ink in the middle of printing. While it does have a slighly larger footprint than my last printer, I had no problems finding room in the printer bay of my desk, so no extra long cords or cables, or clutter to deal with.The on screen instuctions are easy to use and follow making crisp clean prints a breeze.Overall, so far this printer has worked great and has had no issues, would definately recommend this printer over others.

Hello I just got done testing this canon mega tank printer that I received as a free sample for agreeing to write this review. I had a couple small issues with getting it to connect to my computer It kept saying that it was timing out before it could connect but I eventually figured it out and was able to print my paperwork. There wasn't really any instructions that came with it telling me anything about the ink, but the print quality was good. It did print quietly and quickly I had a 30 page report that I printed in about 4-5 minutes overall I was happy with the product.

I received a free Canon mega tank to review and test. I have been using it and it has been great! the ink doesn't smudge and it also has a copier and a scanner which is awesome for my line of work I use all 3 features. I was able to use Bluetooth from my phone to printer as well, I would definitely recommend this product. And I must say it was absolutely a great product to receive for free.

I had many problems getting my printer to talk to the computer. Cannon's help remains poor, but not as poor as Epson's, which caused me to try a Cannon printer again. The printer has worked well during the few times I have used it. I like the ease of filling the reservoir. The colors appear to be vivid but I have not done any of my photos yet.

The Canon MegaTank PIXMA G4280 is a decent printer, but with some pros and cons. Setting it up was super easy, and the idea of using refillable ink tanks instead of cartridges is really cool and eco-friendly. However, I don't think the ink is as vibrant as it could be; the colors don't stand out as much as I'd like. Another downside is the scanning feature-it's more complicated than it needs to be, especially since you have to use a USB to scan to different devices, which feels a bit outdated. Overall, it's good but has a few things that could be improved.

I received this printer for free to review and I must say it is a very good printer. I love how you can print wireless from your phone without having to have it connected to a computer. I've had no problems with this printer at all. It works great and I would highly recommend.

I received this product in exchange for my honest review. This canon printer was very easy to set up. It has a user friendly screen that makes making changes to page sizes and types a breeze. It runs fairly quickly. It is a great home printer for general use. I've used it to print on card stock as well as normal printing and it has been great.

I want to preface this by saying I received a free printer to try out. I am giving my honest opinion on it and want it to be known that I would not let the fact that I didn't pay for it, color my review. Very easy to setup and use. Intuitive. Filling it with ink was a cinch which surprised me. I've always had hassle with switching out ink cartridges but the bottles you pour in make it straightforward. I liked that. Printing has been great, I use my phone and the app or I send documents over the wifi. Very happy with this. So far, no issues so I'd rate it 5 out of 5.

I love the white color, the size of the screen and overall appearance/size. It was super cool to empty the ink cartridges into the colored/black slots. I feel this refillable feature will save me money in the long run, and it's nice not to have the old school little clip in ink cartridges. Printing was very fast and the colors were crisp, vibrant, and clear. I am throughly impressed and have already recommended this printer to numerous family members. 10/10 would absolutely purchase!

Long time Canon user: extremely disappointed!. I ordered this printer on 9/15 and could not get it to properly work, no matter what I did. Laptop is a M2 Max with 32GB of RAM and running Sequoia 15.0. Downloaded Canon PRINT software utilities, installed the software and printing was super slow. Scanning was spotty and when it worked, it took over 5 minutes to scan a page (default dpi). Wi-fi is not an issue. I called today to get an RMA. Will be looking for another Canon model or perhaps another vendor. Sorry Canon!

The printer itself seems to be high quality. The setup guide is mostly just pictures without text, which would be OK except the pictures showing how to fill the ink tanks are frustratingly vague and it took me quite a while to figure it out. Once I did, however, the actual process was simple. BUT the Achilles heel of this printer is the troublesome connectivity. I have been unable to share this printer between my two Windows PCs. Canon support was very patient but we could only get it to connect to one computer at a time, and as soon as it connected to the second it dropped the connection to the first. This was no problem for my old PIXMA 870 which sadly died after 10+ years. My excellent experience with that printer was the main reason I bought a new Canon printer, but unfortunately this one has been a disappointment.
