Unlike most, I would rather have a single monitor than dual. The resolution of this monitor works great for me at an average viewing distance of about 3 feet. Color rendering and warmth are good, but it did take about a week of use for the intensity of the color to come forth (or for me to become comfortable with the level of color intensity of the monitor). Refresh rate is good. I don't do gaming, but I do have an Apple TV connected to it and it works great with that.

I love my new 27". I use it for work and for playing space sims/MMOs (HDMI 1.4). The video is sharp. Controls are easy to reach. Menu options are easy to navigate. The only problem I have is my PC is setup to dual-boot but the monitor will not display the POST or boot screen, possibly because the resolution is too low (800x600 or 640x480). I resolved that by adding an old 19" to the second video port.

I bought this monitor around 5 months ago, and have had no issues with it. The monitor looks good, the stand is quality, and it performs well. In my opinion, the menus are easy enough to navigate and there are lots of features to choose from. The monitor is also very convenient because it has many ports, and it also has a USB hub to connect your peripherals easily.

I was surprised to find it has no speaker built it. Nada. Zip. So, buy a speaker. (The speakers were not mentioned in the description because...they were not there!) I was also annoyed to find the connections are all carefully hidden away to be accessible only by extreme contortions using mirrors and a spider sense in placing cords into connectors. Black-on-black is great, isn't it? The positioning of the connectors was made clear in Dell's diagram on-line but we rushed by that one, too. This is my first desktop in about twenty years so I came to the purchase without some basic knowledge. I would have checked it out more carefully had the sales person not rushed me into the purchase. Another monitor may have been a better choice for my needs. (When I say 'rushed' I mean I left on a plane thinking I needed to decide what to buy and landed to discover emails saying I'd bought this.) As to performance, I am still setting things up. The monitor seems clear and serviceable. Go slow in ordering from Dell. Do not fall into the clutches of the on-line chatters, helpers, and others. They are little help, gloss over information, misinform perhaps unintentionally, and aim to sell something whether it meets your needs or not. I may have bought a more expensive monitor had I understood this one's limitations.

Once you adjust the panel's coloring, contrast, brightness, etc. nothing comes close to the price to performance on this panel, excellent buy! Especially if you pick it up on sale! Viewing angles are not atrocious as many people will lead you to believe with a TN panel and if you use it as your primary monitor it's outstanding. The monitor is labeled as FreeSync however Nvidia graphics cards will be able to take advantage of the variable high refresh frames thanks to their recent update (Be sure to use a displayport cable!)

This is probably the best monitor I have ever used. It is better than the Samsung IPS monitor that I used before. This 1440p 144hz screen is very sharp and detailed and displays my game with a better picture than the old IPS display. The blacks are deep and the colors are vivid. The 27 inch display is the perfect size for 1440p. The 144hz refresh rate is silky smooth and I think I have been spoiled by it. The I/O is good with the USB hub, and the stand can adjust in all directions. The only downside is the bad viewing angles from the side, but that doesnt really matter because this will be your main monitor!

The monitor it’s self has amazing resolution and refresh rate, but the bonus is the stand which allows the monitor to turn and angle in almost any way!

The viewing angle issues of a TN panel cannot be understated. I didn’t think I’d mind a TN panel... I was wrong.

Very good monitor with excellent graphics and visual presentation. Works great for gaming, video watching, and normal desktop work. Would buy again. The 27" view is perfect with wide viewing angles that still remain crisp and sharp details from edge to edge. Easy to hook up and connect.

Very satisfying purchase. Solid performance and image, gaming on Google Stadia looks great and is a great companion to my Chromebox.

I'm using this monitor for about 4 months. I really like the 3 digital input, and the 144hz is nice. The menu is nice and cofigurable. Also there isn't a display port in the box, just a high speed HDMI.

Unfortunately, the unit I received has a stuck pixel down in lower left corner of the display, and I'm still getting used to much wider field of view. Other than that, tho', I love this display. Very pleased with it, thank you.

easy to connect and fast enough for games, but the color isn't great. will tweak, but I think I could have done better at this price point.

This 4K Dell 27-inch monitor is an upgrade from my previous Dell 24-inch 1080P monitor. As a photographer, the image quality and calibration are important, and in these regards, the 27 inch monitor does not disappoint. The ability to adjust the monitor height is excellent, as I can lower it to close to the desktop and raise it as necessary.

Gorgeous monitor. Build quality is incredibly high and after calibration, colors are super pure and vivid. The high frames do work with my 2080. Well worth it!

Great for 1440p 144hz gaming. Viewing angles are a little iffy but isn't a huge deal unless you're constantly shifting around for some reason

No complaints so far. Very happy with the image quality and increased framerate. Able to be OCed to 155 Hz through the NVIDIA control panel. A solid upgrade from using 60Hz 1080p monitors.

Beautiful picture quality for a TN. Near-ips level. Needs slight calibration (out of the box slightly washed out, but after spending 10 minutes changing a few settings (lower all colors gain/offset settings except for the blues by 1%, reduce Gamma to .7 in Nvidia Color Profile, everything just pops so nicely. 155hz easy to hit with one click OC in the monitor menu, very easy to do. Amazing stand, amazing panel. Seriously considering getting a second for an awesome dual monitor set up.

This monitor has not disappointed me. The colors are vivid. It has a thin bezel and it fits nicely in my study desk. The lack of a USB-C port is a bummer though

The FreeSync will work with Nvidia 10xx and 20xx cards using the Nvidia Control Panel and a Display Port cable. No complaints at all so far.

Ok bang for the buck. Burn in is pretty bad. It goes away, but it’s noticeable if you leave something on screen in the same spot for a bit.

I'm very happy with this monitor. The 4k looks amazing. The colors and display options are next level. You can easily get caught up admiring the details in games with this monitor (provided you have the right spec rig pushing it). I most definitely recommend the Dell 27 Gaming Monitor: S2719DGF - Y03DD.
