Well Built Monitor

Kind if disappointed so far.  Only had on one job so far, left everything in factory settings, which seem to be rec.709.  Ended up having to increase brightness 20% because the picture was just too dark.  Camera looked fine on other monitors and scope.  Focus was pretty good, and it looks like it will be able to be bright enough for my outdoor usage.

It doesn't have VESA mounting points; couldn't get more than two to line up at either 75 or 100.  Luckily I had an extra arm with 1/4-20 and a clamp.  I had an AC try it, and he said nope, out of luck with a VESA mount.  I know they have their own stand mount, but the angle can't be adjusted.

I did run about 6 hours with one 90wh battery, and appeared to have plenty left.

If it had been $2k or less, I might not be as disappointed.   Well, OK, except for not having a VESA mount.

I was also a bit disappointed it doesn't have a built in power supply.   At least the Boland I also use has a mount to hold their power supply.

Great monitor, it’s pretty much the standard for pulling focus on film/tv production. Very bright, perfect size.
