. . . being a touch facetious calling this cute, but it is. I am a long time user of Profoto "pro" power supplies and heads. Have a few of each. I shoot predominately food, for stock, assignment editorial/promo for restaurants gastronome. My work has gone through substantial change over the last few years and while I still use the pro packs I wanted something light for the road. Plus having two kits ready for each situation means less packing and "prep". I intend to buy another pack and head as soon as there is another good promo. 4 stars? I am hoping that this will be as well thought out and as well built as I, and many other longtime profoto users have been accustomed to (I still have an old pack 20yrs +, and it has only ever had one repair). Looking at the head it is well built, compact, and lightweight. However being used to the studio gear I was hoping for an equal feel of solidity, and hopefully weatherproofness. The light is beautiful, consistency perfect, portability is great!

purchased this head and a corresponding pack from a competitor during their "special deals". It's great, stinks a bit because of no fan, but lightweight and a durable build (I hope). I shoot food . . . have been for more than twenty years, and I use Profoto pro packs. They have never failed me, but they are heavy. I looked towards this as I am changing direction a bit. Build quality seems to be up to Profoto standards. Just wish I had tuned in earlier for the promos . . . would have bought more
