Software issues

While the gimbal, when functioning is good and does mostly what is being claimed, but.. Drains iphone 13 pro's battery life very fast, so you really, really need those extra charging batteries. Software malfunctions, a lot. Im not sure if its because bad bluetooth connection between the phone and gimbal or something else, but Ive had it shut down in middle of shooting video, focusing and while photographing. On top of that, at the time of writing, some of the claimed functions in the gimbal do not work, like accessing the camera app's settings via the handle. Some sources say the company is planning to get those fixed/functioning, but as of now not working. I personally would not have purchased this gimbal had I known these issues before hand. Hopefully these things get worked on.

Great option in the bag of tools...

I was impressed by how it easily handled the weight and size of the iPhone 12 Max PRO without any issues. I previously used Filmic Pro but not since they went to subscription based model. I will test the Zhiyun's native app for functionality and hope for some compatibility.

the most satisfied gimbal I have ever used

very robust gimbal, I didn't find a satisfied gimbal for my iphone 12 pro max but this one is reliable. The focus wheel is defenitely for Pro users and easily got controlled. I like the long and thick handle as well.

fixed the charge and external mic issue

I'm new to this gimbal stuff, and I just love my smooth 5, can't wait for the filmic pro to work with it, also I saw the problem with the charging or adding a mic with the weight being shifted off balance...well I fixed that, I made a mold and my new wires will be available next month, they have a 90 degree input to the phone so no space taken up, stay tuned for my release date

This is amazing!!!

I love this gimbal! I've owned a whole bunch of mobile gimbals in the past and this one is a huge step forward for people who have heavy phones like myself! Plus the motors can handle my external moment lenses with filters attached!!! How cool is that no other mobile gimbal that I have bought has been able to do that! I haven't fully tested it out but I'm planning on taking it with my on vacation coming up so that will be the ultimate test! Overall I'm really happy I bought this!
