Batter is Fine, Albeit CRAZY EXPENSIVE

The battery is fine. But it is CRAZY EXPENSIVE. Not Adorama's fault. Welcome to the land of Leica. I think there are 3rd-party substitutes, but with a different camera, I had trouble with a 3rd-party battery. So I paid the full-fare for this Leica-brand second battery. After sales tax and shipping, it was $315...for a batter!!!

Great battery.

Very high quality battery. I used it for 1 day of street shooting the bars and restaurant of my neighborhood for half a day. And the battery was still going. It’s expensive but it gives us confidence to shoot our Leica q2’s more.

Impressive battery life

The Leica SL uses a proprietary battery so naturally the best battery would be the Leica. Their lithium Ion batteries are outstanding. Not sure who is their provider, but they are best on the market.
