if you don't have a drone, this monopod is almost a perfect substitute. Used with a heavy DSLR, strong and extends quite a ways. Happy purchase.

This is a great, strudy yet lightweight monopod, especially for the price. Solidly built with smooth leg. Extension. Easily supports my Nikon D5600 with attached 70-300mm lens. I particularly like the two for base - rubber foot or metal spoke.

The monopod is sturdy, strong, lightweight, easy to transport, and it gets the job done. The interchangeable bottom (spike or rubber) is versatile and good for any surface. The monopod relieves the strain of carrying a Canon 1D X and 70-200 f/2.8 lens, which are heavy and can become a burden to hold for a sustained period.

Super light and compact, fit in both my rolling case and backpack. If you are over 5ft 8inch you might find this monopod to short for your use.

It is nice and light. But it supported my Nikon 7100 w 80-400 mm lens. It lets me pan a car or plane going by. I used it for over two hours straight and it held up. A great tool for creating blur on air plane propellers letting me pan with them. It folds up and doesn't take hardly any room. It is better then sex and my age is 71 loll

I like this more than I thought I would. It's stable, yet light weight and easy to carry. I really like that the screw for attaching a ball head reverses from 3/8 to 1/4 inch. Used it with a Nikon D750 and Nikon 200-500mm lens--a heavy combo--and it worked like a charm, providing enough support and stability to shoot birds at a rookery. Recommend this.

I have always trusted Manfrotto for a quality product and this Monopod did not disappoint. I topped it off with a ball head, and I still have more extension available and I am 6 Ft. tall.

I've been eyeing monopods for a long time. The Manfrotto came up at a very reasonable price so I took the plunge. I've only used it once so far but I really like it. It has a very smooth action as it extends. It is very light weight and extends to a perfect height for me. (5' 8") I would recommend this, especially at the price I paid.

This is a wonderful monopod. The top attachment pin is interchangeable.. and I needed the 1/4 in attachment vs the 3/8 that's on my tripod.. SO it was a good price to order when I go to Africa on a trip

Manfrotto should have included an Arca Swiss type ballhead like other manufacturers.

This is a very well constructed item, is compact, light and durable. For me at 5'11" though, a bit too short to avoid stooping at times. Wish it went to 65".

This product is sturdy, I use it often, it's very easy to adjust, I like the twist lock sections. I added the manfrotto pivoting head. I have no problems shooting steady shots with a 400mm lens with OS. It sure beats packing and setting up a tripod when you're hiking and shooting wildlife, I no longer miss shots because I'm unsteady or trying to setup a tripod. Manfrotto's warranty is great, they clearly have confidence in their products.

This is the monopod every travel photographer should have with on the road. Small compact and sturdy and a good usable height. Very strong for it’s small size.

Sturdy and compact and works with Canon 400mm 2.8 not so much with the 600mm f4
