Product is wonderful?. What was lacking was my experience. Recieved order missing an item. Called immediately to report it. They immediately confirmed there was a discrepancy with the weight of the package at the time it was sent out confirming the item was missing? It has been over 2 weeks and I still don't have the item.

Love this little, portable softbox. Great for on-the-fly use or even as a secondary light for product and headshot photography.

Profoto Clic Octa Softbox produces good light; it has soft-silver/white striped interior; it is double diffused and both diffusers are permanently attached; it?s really lightweight and portable (cases included); setup and breakdown are super easy (two-handed to open and single-handed to close); mount made of plastic (not the Profoto OCF ring plastic); accepts other Clic attachments (gels, etc.); mount goes on standard light stand, has a built-in handle with tilt function and the receiver fastens to a standard light stand pin; the fabric grid is extra ($130) but it is sock-like (elastic goes over the soft boxes edges). To my dismay, the magnets in the soft box that hold the speedlight (A1/A1X/A10) are not strong enough. Speedlights fall off with the slightest bump to the soft box or even to the c-stand base. If you move too fast, the speedlight pops out. Also, the magnets that hold the speedlight aren?t polished. If you rotate the speedlight while attached to the soft box, speedlight?s bezel will get scraped. I am also bummed out that upon registration with Profoto, ?My Products? page informed me that neither of the two items have any warranty. That?s not cool for a $300 soft box and $130 fabric grid! I reiterate, the light quality from this box produced with a Profoto A10 is darn good. That said, I wouldn?t recommend this soft box to anyone because I wouldn?t want you to break your ~$1,200 speedlight. I believe Profoto should redesign this box by adding some kind of secondary securing mechanism. For example, the way MagMod uses with their soft boxes.

So excited when I saw this release. I have used bigger soft-boxes when using my A10's I had to modify so much to use it though. Finally gear made specifically for the A and C series. Setup time is as fast breakdown time.
