Just what I needed to mount my A10 speedlites to lighting stands. Pricey but that just goes with the Profoto territory. Worth it.

I thought it might be a light duty piece. It looks like it?s way over engineered and Built for a long life. Much better quality than I thought.

Makes using OCF accessories with the A1 a super fast setup. About 1-2 minutes to setup/ breakdown. Study enough to hold a medium deep elinchrom. Definitely recommend.

As a full time professional photographer- AND a huge fan of Profoto gear - I can absolutely say without a doubt that this is the worst piece of gear I have ever seen come from this company. First of all let's point out the obvious: This thing is WAY overpriced. Setting that aside and knowing how wonderful everything they make has usually been... I decided to go ahead and purchase two of these to go with my A1X flashes. My favorite accessories are often the reflectors (magnum reflector etc.). and these do not work with that kind of light modifier. Now...that's not even the worst problem. The worst problem is the little knob that you use to adjust the angle of your lighting. It is very difficult to get a hold of this little knob and adjust it. If you're used to using any other light stand adjustment (c-stands, manfrotto stands, angle brackets etc.) you always get a nice little handle to grab onto for some leverage making it easier to loosen and turn the adjustment. This is just a small rubber coated dial that is cumbersome to loosen and difficult to get a good strong grip on. If this weren't bad enough- there's no way to lock in an umbrella - so when you go to close an umbrella and move the light you'll pull the umbrella right out. If you're working outdoors and a tiny gust of wind comes along.. forget it. Shame on you Profoto. 1. Too expensive 2. Hard to grip and adjust the angle knob 3. No way to lock umbrellas into place. 4. Not compatible with hard light reflectors or most any other Profoto light modifiers. 5. Not compatible with beauty dish (Profoto soft light reflector)

Works great. Sturdy. Superb design. I attached a 3 ft Profoto Octa to it without a problem. Really extends the usability of my A1X light.

It is a quick accessory to mount your Profoto flash, made of a super resistant material and when used with Oct accessories and reflectors it is super simple and practical to handle.
