I was amazed at the clarity and color saturation provided by this lens. A friend of mine that took a casual gander through it exclaimed, "This makes the world look like a Salvador Dali painting!" The image will always be clear from edge to edge, and will always have incredible tone and detail that you yourself may not have noticed while you were on location! I ran it against my friend's Hassie and the results are so comparable I think it almost disappointed them. No one expects medium format lenses to be terribly fast at autofocusing, but I would like to remark that this is indeed one the fastest one I've seen. Still, expect to be zone focusing most often when the option is available. It does a reasonable job in low light, but using a flash to assist in focusing is the best option when you need the situation WORK. I found best results using this for scenic photography. Every shot is an immediate postcard.
