Perfect match to my Lumix S5!
Excellent lens. Very manageable size and weight for the focal length that this provides. And this lens might be the perfect accompaniment to the new Lumix S5 that I just bought. This lens allows me to use the Dual IS - which I need, because my hand shakes considerably. Build quality is top notch. The lens comes with a lens bag and hood which are very useful. I would say, if you are looking to get the S5 especially, this lens is the perfect suitor to create a travel worthy setup.
Introducing PANASONIC’s LUMIX S Series
Panasonic unveils the Lumix S series, its first full-frame mirrorless camera line. Combining durability with uncompromising quality, the Lumix S1 utilizes a 24.2MP full-frame MOS sensor, while the S1R uses a new 47.3-megapixel MOS sensor, allowing for a maximum ISO sensitivity of 51,200 and 25,600, respectively. The Lumix S series features an updated Venus engine for 9 fps burst shooting or 6 fps continuous focus shooting, as well as DFD technology for autofocus speeds of approximately 0.08 seconds. Both the S1 and S1R can shoot in HLG Photo Mode, the new High Resolution Mode which captures eight images in quick succession before stitching the results into a single image, and 6K photo mode. Both utilize an L-Mount system, making them compatible with various Sigma and Leica lenses, and with the new Panasonic lenses, namely the70-200mm f/4 LUMIX S Pro O.I.S. L-Mount Len, the 24-105mm f/4 LUMIX S O.I.S. L-Mount Lens, & 50mm f/1.4 LUMIX S PRO L-Mount Lens. The body is made up of a fully die-cast Magnesium alloy frame ergonomically designed to be dust and splash-resistant for outdoor photography. The new line of mirrorless cameras from Panasonic opens up new horizons for amateurs and professional photographers alike.

The Panasonic LUMIX S-R24105 24-105mm F4 Macro Lens with O.I.S. is a versatile standard zoom lens covering wide-angle to medium-telephoto with high-descriptive performance across the entire zoom range. The LUMIX S Macro Lens enables 0.5x macro shooting with a minimum focus distance of 0.3m so you can photograph small subjects at very close distances.
