The form factor for the A6600 is quite small (I have been shooting DSLR all through). However, when I put this cage on the camera, it gave it a good heft without adding too much weight. The grip is better and above all protects the camera.

Smallrig a6600 cage
This cage never leaves my Sony a6600. Buy one ypu won't be disappointed.
