Excellent elastic straps with a seriously beefy leather strap holder. I like that the elastic is secure enough to hold SLC 10x42s when hands off, but also stretchy enough to extend and allow use at extremely high angles (say 80 degrees). Another benefit to the elastic is that it helps stabilize the image without creating shoulder fatigue. My only gripe is that you have to unclip the harness from the binocular to remove it easily, as the elastic can catch on clothing.

As expected, this is a high-quality bino harness. The leather pad, the shoulder straps, and the bino connection straps are all made of high-quality materials. The harness is comfortable to wear and easy to use; I am expecting it will last a long time, even under heavy use. Highly recommend this product if your looking for a quality bino harness.

The first shipment was lost, the second shipment look like it was used and was missing pieces and the third came in just fine. Customer service was very helpful and re-ordering replacement order

I was disappointed with the design of this binocular harness. It was certainly not designed for either a short person, or for a woman with a bust. In order to give myself enough reach to lift the bins to my eyes, it meant that they hung so low that when I walked they swung out and then hit me in the belly with every step. Maybe this doesn't happen if you are tall and flat chested. Additionally I felt like I was wrapped in elastic which was especially uncomfortable under my arms. I was also surprised that, for the price, Swarovski didn't include the round pin things that go into the new ELs. Also if you have the new strap that comes with the new EL "system", you need to make sure to have a nice picnic table to make the change from strap to harness... you wouldn't want to do it where you might drop and lose one of those little connectors! If you lose one of those you're going to be out of luck big time.

After 20 years the former ones 'died' - the elastic finally gave out. Am planning on these to last at least that long.

Swarovski makes the best binocular on the market. Their harness is likewise the best. I have used other brands and they are unsatisfactory. The all let the binocular slide down over a short time. The Swarovski harness is made of much better material which does not allow this unwanted sliding. I also like the attachment system and included eyepiece cover attachment. Very well designed. What did you expect from Swarovski?
