I would recommend this item over other extension tubes. It has a tight fit. I can't feel the lens wobble at all unlike another extension tube I tried.

Great addition to longer lenses to shorten their focal distances and increase their magnification. You won’t get the same magnification as a dedicated macro lens (google the charts on Fuji’s site), but it’s a sleek, well-built companion to get closer details of flowers, etc.

Works perfectly, well machined and provides far more options for my Fuji lenses. I've used it with the 18-55, 23mm f2 and 27mm pancake. It's a little tight at 18mm with the zoom but still works. Lots of fun.

Was a little concerned that I would not be happy with image quality. Wrong. I am very happy. Yesterday was the first time I used this. Got to experiment with it, on plants, in my yard and at Smith College Greenhouse. Glad to have this in my arsenal.

These tubes work well to reduce close-focus distance and increase magnification, though DoF is lost. To compensate with smaller apertures a tripod or extra lighting is sometimes helpful. The OIS lenses are good for this as well. I have both the 11mm and 16mm tubes and often stack them on the X-T1. The 27mm pancake, 55-200mm and 18-55mm lenses all work great with these tubes. For what it's worth I'd also avoid the knock-off tubes (I had some but they use softer metal on the mounts which wears out quickly). Lots of good sample shots from these on Flickr.

First impression is that it integrates well with the XT 1 and the lens. ( a major difference from the old tubes that had no connection between camera and lens. Was pleased with the macro results although I am just starting to play with it.
