Don’t like this at all. Not comfortable to use, very limited functionality- needs touchpad or mouse to do a lot of things . The magic one is better. Deeply Regret purchasing this especially since I missed returning it in time , now I’m stuck with it and out a lot of money:(

I bought this version because a friend wanted the 12.1 iOS. There is a trick to setting it up, however, or you will be automatically updated to iOS 13.2.3. If you set it up from another iPad by holding it ontop of the iPad 12.9 or leaving it close, it defaults to a screen that will NOT let you progress without updating the iOS. After much fooling around, I found that if you DO NOT try to move the settings from anothe iPad but default to manually install them after setup, you will avoid this screen and be giving the option of updating or not. Choose manual updating and you will be able to finish setup without changing iOS. I highly recommend this iPad. I would recommend leaving the iOS on 12.1 for awhile yet while Apple sorts out the problems of iOS 13. The Adorama folks were very helpful and the iPad arrived fast.

Fantastic product and great price. Just be aware that adorama does shut down for holidays so shipping may not occur right away. Otherwise the items arrived quickly.

The choice to go with the OEM keyboard folio was not easy but I am satisfied. There are many bells and whistles found in other brands. What makes the Apple Smart Keyboard Folio stand out to me is that it works! They put thought into the magnetic attachment of the iPad to the case. The keyboard is active when set into 1 of the 2 magnetic slots. You do not have to be gentle with the keyboard when it's folded back and even have it laying flat on a surface. There is no need to charge the folio outside of it being connected. When I go to meetings I am aware of how I hold it so the pencil is not bumped off. If you're looking for a tank to hold your iPad and keep it protected, this is not for you. It's elegant and keeps things together in a neat and simple package.
