Operates as advertised, a little on the light weight side but doesn't impede function and supports my lights even when I use the heavy batteries.

Walked into the store and measured these stands by hand, since not even the (Chinese), company’s website had specs on them. 19” folded, 19” minimum height, 76” max height. Stands are old school basic flat steel (no air cushion, not smooth, not always easy to open & close). That being said, the case is gorgeous. Sturdy, padded, well-made, separate sleeves for each stand (so they don’t bang around & scratch each other), zippered compartment for cards & such. If money were no object, I’d buy the kit for the case alone and replace the stands with higher quality ones.
