I love this light - I use it with Aputure Light Dome II and it just the light I have wanted for years. Great for the photographer that is switching back and forth from stills to motion. So easy to set up, it will be the one light I?ll take everywhere no matter what the job. Love it!

Should have gotten these ages ago.
Love these lights. The quality and control of the light is exactly what I was looking for. I got the two light kit and there is so much versatility when it comes to these lights. the air cushioned light stands that come in the kit are pretty decent! rolling case is incredible. remote control makes it simple to adjust levels on the fly. fans are way quieter than I expected. Don't get quite as bright as I expected.. but works for most of my needs. It allows me to drop my iso down significantly so its not really a problem. I guess if I actually find myself needing anything brighter, id get the 300d. only complaint is the bard doors don't really cut the light that well.

Solid Product
Solid made product, relatively small, app works well. I pair it with the 300dII and am happy with the results I?m getting. The case it comes in is good for a free case. I wouldn?t trust it to last super long. Zippers will likely where out if stressed. Defiantly not the quality of the light itself, which looks and feels like it?s made to last.

Essential to Any Production
Over a year and a half later, these things have become indispensable to my production work. Adding the fresnel and this light becomes twice as bright as a 1k Tungsten! My favorite lights by far; I bring them everywhere and everywhere. The Bowens mount is so conveniant. Spec claims it can't handle a 90wH battery over 80%, but even that works great with some Anton Bauers. I've since swapped one of the V Plates out for a Gold, and I am pleased to report they are completely interchangeable with no additional hardware needed (except of course some wire cutters).

If you do any work with products I cannot recommend this light enough. It's so simple to use and it's one of the best lights I've worked with!

I love Aputure products. They offer excellent and professional lighting at an extremely reasonable price for the quality that you receive. I've had my eye on the 2-light kit for some time but found they were out of stock all over. Since I signed up for the stock alert from Adorama, they notified me as soon as they were in stock and I purchased right away. The kit comes with everything you need: 2 – LS C120ii, stands, controllers, remotes, cables & cords, etc.; you get two sets of barn doors, gel holders and so much more. I highly recommend this for photographers and filmmakers alike.

MUST HAVE Key Light!
I use this light on literally EVERYTHING from personal videos to every paid gig I have. The build quality, lighting quality, and production value these lights provide is well worth it. I almost ALWAYS use with the Aputure Light Dome II, and is a must if you own this light. It is SO flattering to the subjects and it is incredibly versatile. This brand keeps rocking affordable yet top-notch products. I will definitely be purchasing the Aputure MC 4 Pack and the 300D II in the near future!

Excellent service from Adorama and Pro quality lights
Firstly Adorama had these shipped out to me in super quick time over here in Qatar. Everything was very well packaged. The lights are built exceptionally well and have a good output. The way Aputure include the case and it's inssefs are top quality indeed and will mean the lights stay in good condition for a long time to come. Unfortunately 2 of my Vmount batteries just dont seem to work well on the 120dII. They literally last 2mins and then switch off even though they have plenty of remaining charge. It's almost as though the light cuts it self off. Mains power is the way I'm powering right now but I need to find a solution to the vmount issue.

Excellent kit, worth every penny.
Perfect light kit with everything you need to get up and running. Each light comes with a remote, but a single remote can control multiple lights assigned to groups. Excellent build quality as you’d expect and the storage / transportation case is solid. Overall, the kit is well worth the money.

Great light with a caveat
I really love this light. Quite versatile and the additional features are great. What I dont love is that it's advertised as 'Bowens Compatible' but in fact, its deeper than the collar on most if not all 'Glow' brand softboxes. What is interesting is that the long throw reflector and the 7" reflector do have this additional length to the collar and fit fine. I am unsure as to who exactly is out of spec here, but there is clearly a disconnect in what a 'Bowens Mount' specifies for depth of the connecting collar.

Doesn’t fit all Bowen’s mount
Bought the 120d and the 300d thinking they would work with my existing Glow softboxes. There is design flaw on these lights that does let the Bowen’s adapters fully sear, so you can’t turn them to lock them. Had to order the Aputure lite dome which are double the cost of the Glows. I gave these lights two stars because of the lack of precision fit with my existing Bowen’s accessories. I will add the the quality of light from these is great.
