Versatile and lightweight
Love this light, it’s lightweight and compact and has loads of shapahility. This is my third Aputure purchase and I’m delighted with the quality of the products and the results I get on set.

Lit light
One of the best lights I’ve bought for the money, super bright and comes with gels and an not so it’s practically ready to go out of the box. Another win for apurtue.

Perfect Small Kit
I purchased this kit to compliment a larger light kit. These lights have enough punch for hair lights, background accents and small fill. They can work as a 3-point lighting setup in a pinch, but the source is very small, so as a key, it's too directional for my taste. What I love about this kit is the attention to detail. The LED temperature goes from 3200-6500K. This is by design (and indeed clever) so that at 5600K both the amber and blue LED sites are powered to provide maximum punch. Power sources for A/C, batteries (and chargers), and even a adapters to use a cell phone battery are included. The barn doors are professional and felt lined. The stands are light but reasonable, and the system runs very cool and quiet. It's everything you might want in a small, relatively inexpensive kit. If you want more power, opt for the daylight only version, which costs less, but you will need to add a CTO filter to balance daylight.

Love the lights. And fans are fine.
Some reviews have said the fans on these lights are too loud. They are not meant to be a key light right next to the camera. The fans are fine if you are using good professional sound. If using a shotgun mounted to cam or a camera built in camera mic just don't have the lights right next to it. They are great. and light, and easy to transport.

Great light with great light shaping
I debated on getting this light because of all of the negative reviews concerning the fan noise, but decided to buy because of all of the great reviews concerning the light's ability to cut light. I have only been able to do a few test and so far I am very impressed. Yes, the fan is audible, but unless you are using it very close to your talent in a silent room you it shouldn't bother you. The different power options are great.
