The Atlona AT-HD500 PC / Laptop to HDMI Converter, with a built-in scaler, is designed to upscale a PC input source to provide digital HDMI output. Input resolutions up to WUXGA and HD up to 1080p are supported by the converter. With stereo LPCM analog/digital audio input/output, it converts digital/analog audio signal to digital/analog format and embeds the audio on the HDMI signal, while maintaining sync for an error-free display.

Upon selection of the Native output, the PC / Laptop to HDMI Converter automatically detects the factory setting of the connected display providing appropriate resolution and refresh rates. It offers adjustment for parameters like contrast, brightness, hue, saturation, sharpness, RGB (color tone) level and aspect ratio size for a high quality display of images.

Featuring a comprehensive OSD menu, the PC / Laptop to HDMI Converter enables you to select a variety of output resolution and various parameters for a high quality video output. The audio input source in the OSD menu allows you to output the audio to HDMI, TOSLink and phone jack simultaneously. It goes into standby mode when no input signal is received for 15 min and saves power by terminating the connection with the display. In addition, the converter is compliant with HDMI 1.2, HDCP 1.1 and DVI 1.0 standards.
