Well I bought this from a friend and it does work on windows 10 btw, you just need to know how to setup a microphone and plug it into the right usb slot, i plugged it into a 3.0 and it turned on and works perfectly, I would recommend a pop filter as it can sometimes be a little rough if you blow into it too hard or you are super close to it, I'd say maybe 1-2 feet away is fine as long as you have it at the right volume, how you do this is you go to sound settings, select the At2020 and double click the mic and it will take you to properties, there you go to levels, you will definitely have to mess around with it because it picks up basically everything. I set mine to 75 and this is where I felt it was perfect as my pc is on my desk and I can barely hear the faint noise of the fans but I can still hear myself perfectly. You might have to repeat yourself here and there because if you talk fast like me, it sometimes doesn't fully hear you if you are looking away or at another monitor.

I used to have an AT2020 back then, then I bought an AT2035, then I bought an AT4040. Over the years, I have changed my workflow and of course, learned a lot in mixing. Now, the ease of use is a lot more important to me than it was back then. I guess I was new to recording and enjoyed putting stuff together. BUT, the main thing about the 2020USB+ to me is the sound quality. It is STEALING for this price. You just get the raw signal, cut a little low end, compress it, and you have extraordinary vocal quality right there. And what I experienced, that the sound is very responsive to digital EQs. I tried Waves REQ, VEQ, SSL EQ on it and I also have an UAD-1 with Neve and a few others. The sound of the 2020USB+ responds differently to all, which means it record a very detailed, rich signal.
