Definitely must have.
It is high quality and performs amazingly well provided, of course, that the reflected light comes from the correct angle. Apparently I cannot share a couple of photos showing its performance.

Good polarizing filter, little bit tight
This is a good filter, but turning the ring was a bit tight. I added a bit of lubricating oil to make it better, which is why I didn?t give it 5 stars.

Great filter for outdoor portraits and landscapes
The optical clarity of the filter is excellent, B+W always makes flawless glass. I ordered this for taking photos with my Canon 50mm f/1.4 lens and it fits excellently. The threads are clean, precise, and sharp, the rotation of the polarizer element is smooth and flawless. For cutting down reflection glare in outdoor portraits nothing beats this filter in it's price range.

Great choice for removing glare from product photography
I photograph my husband's wood turnings for his website and shows. Fighting excessive light glare on his turned pieces that are highly polished can be an issue. I was advised to use a polarizing filter. This filter is great and works like a charm. It only takes a small adjustment to remove the glare while not adversely affecting the blue color when used on a turning. The threads don't bind when screwing onto the lens and the ring rotates smoothly. I am looking forward to using it in outdoor photography.

Works but cheaper now than 2 weeks ago
It works great with no color cast that I have seem after shooting hundreds of images. My only regret is that I didn't buy it today vs. 2 weeks ago. It is now cheaper.That's why only the 3 star rating.
