x1222 is awesome for live and studio performance

Solid piece of tech. Well made and I love the built in effects send, not just for adding some reverb to instruments, but to also modulate my voice when in a voice chat with friends! Beyond that it gives you everything you need with its multiple stereo input tracks and compressor mic tracks. My only qualm is that you cannot mute the monitoring of the mixer. For example, you will always hear what you say in the mic which causes issues when using it for anything but recording or live performance. I plug it into my scarlet 2i2 to stop this from happening where i get massive feedback when on a call with colleagues or friends. for everything recording I’d highly recommend. It does get a little warm but i haven’t noticed any issues so far. Make sure your cables are good otherwise you’ll hear some weird buzz. The British EQ is phenomenal especially with the 7 band master EQ. Remember this only records to 2 inputs in a DAW so If you're looking to record into multiple tracks, this isn’t it.
