The QR tripod head combined with Benro Mach 3 tripod is very good combination.

This is not a super expensive ball head but is well built and functional. The camera plate is over sized compared to most others that allows for a good support base. It is tight where it is supposed to be and moves freely when released. Compared to other heads of a similar type, this seems to be a great value!

Have a sml frame Canon T-3 1100D and use the Sigma 70-200mm f2.8 to shoot sports. Ballhead works fine. Just had to get use to shooting with this mounted on a monopod. Takes a little learning, but works for me now.

Got this to use on an old Bogen 3001 aluminum tripod, which it fit perfectly, with adequate capacity for my Canon 5D Mk.III, and 28-135, 17-35 2.8, and 70-300 4.0 IS L. Maybe a little marginal for the telephoto, but I probably should get the tripod collar to use with this lens. Single tightening control, but works fine for my rig.
