Review Summary

I just purchased this tripod head because all of the ones I own are Manfrotto mount so I had no way of mounting Arca accessories. The tripod seems to be well built and I will update this review later as I get to use it more.

Hard to lock down. They make good tripods but go with a Sirui head.

Big, but not too big. Solid. I put it on a SLIK 700 Pro tripod that I have had for years and it's a perfect fit. The blue color really spruced it up if that matters. The original SLIK head was worn so I needed a good replacement while I re-hab it. The Benro head will stay on the tripod until I need something better. I don't expect that to happen. Highly recommended.

An exceptional addition to the renowned HD series, the HD3A 3-Way Arca Tripod Head delivers superior precision and control in camera movement and positioning, surpassing the capabilities of traditional ball heads. This refined and reengineered model from Benro offers enhanced versatility, making it a must-have tool for professional photographers and videography enthusiasts alike.
One of the key enhancements in this model is the inclusion of an Arca-Swiss compatible plate, equipped with a Pull/Twist security feature. This thoughtful design allows photographers to effortlessly switch between Ball Heads and 3-Way Heads without the need to change Quick Release (QR) plates, offering a seamless transition and saving valuable time during shoots.
Another significant upgrade is the incorporation of three bubble levels, ensuring precise and accurate positioning. Additionally, reference scales have been added to the HD3A model, enabling photographers to replicate settings with ease and accuracy.
