I was looking for a lighter travel tripod and it did not disappoint. I took it to my recent trip to Puerto Rico for some long exposure photography. I would definitely recommend this tripod and would purchase it again. It did not disappoint!

My first tripod was a Manfrotto. Then I discovered Benro and it's a very great brand with fantastic products! Before buy this model I was using the Peak Design carbon one: it has great features and portability, but this Benro is way better in stability. It looks great and is very light. It's taller than the Peak Design one when folded but it fits great on the side of your backpack. Be aware that for travel, if you need to put it inside a bag, you can easily remove the tripod head!

This is an amazing tripod. Sturdy and can easily take on my d500 and sigma 150-600 without any fuss. Pretty easy to setup and the you have multiple options to do panning. Lightweight to lug around where ever you go. I would have definitely missed this if not properly explained by the guys at Adorama. Outstanding as usual. Thank you.

Exactly what I wanted. Great quality, the perfect height and no center column. The uniquely designed ballhead is perfect for panoramas.

This tripod is great, I have several Gitsu tripods and was looking for a lighter one with the same qualities, but less the cost. This tripod meets the bill, and the sturdiness is great.

Love the lightness of this tripod. Very easy to handle and set up. My first time using a Benro and can only say I’m very satisfied. Sturdy enough for all use. Highly recommend it.

Perfect little table top tripod that is rock solid and can hold a good amount of weight. Used with a Nikon D850 with battery grip, really right stuff L bracket and Tamron 15-30mm f/2.8 and it holds the weight just fine.

Nice sturdy tripod with a great height range. Ball head is great too! The upper 360 degree assembly allows for panoramas without the trouble of having this dial buried at the bottom of the ball head, though you do have a second one at the bottom also. Light weight but strong. using it without the ball head for my star tracking unit. Love the lack of a center column which allows me to get low and not have to reverse the center post and hang my camera upside down to get that low angle.

Tortoise Series Tripod.
The small yet mighty Tortoise Series Tripod has been developed for those looking for a compact, lightweight travel tripod, that punches above its weight when it comes to weight capacity and stability. Without the addition of a center column, the diameter of a folded Tortoise is just 3.1" (8cm) making it extremely portable and easy to stow in a backpack.
There are two types of Tortoise Series tripods available, one for photo that features a flat platform to mount the head and another for video that features a ball levelling device to mount the head on.
GX Low-Profile Dual Panoramic Ballhead.
The low-profile design of the GX heads allows for a higher payload and smoother, more controllable camera movement. The GX heads feature dual panoramic mode, which allows you to pan the head from its base in addition to the quick-release platform, a main ball locking and friction control.
