Used Bright Tangerine Top Plate Core for RED DSMC2 Camera

A low profile top plate with 1/4"-20 & ARRI accessory mounts, quick release clamp & RS port.

The Left Field Top Plate Kit for DSMC2 mounts to the top of a DSMC2 camera and provides a quick release clamp for the Dovetail Plate for DSMC2 to use with a top handle or other accessories.

The top plate has an ARRI standard dovetail clamp which can also be used with the Left Field ARRI standard Dovetail (300mm) or any other third party ARRI standard dovetail to mount the camera to a jib or crane.

The Top Plate Core is designed to match the length of the DSMC2 camera body, providing enough space for the DSMC2 Monitor and to not obstruct any other module attached to the back of the camera body.

The 3-pin Fischer RS port can transmit a run/stop trigger signal to the camera when a compatible device and cable is connected.

When used with the Carrying Top Handle for DSMC2, the pogo pins fit into the cutout, protecting the pogo pins from any damage. The short Run/Stop trigger cable can then be connected for trigger functionality on the top handle.

The top plate core features multiple 1/4"-20 and two ARRI accessory mounting points (3/8"-16).

Compatible with any DSMC2 camera, the Top Plate core mounts securely to the camera body using the four included screws with a 5/32" Allen Key.

The Top Plate Core for DSMC2 has been tested by RED's Engineering team to ensure compatibility with RED DSMC2 cameras.
