This is a great example of a microphone that does its job well for its price. Overall I think the design is decent although there are a few things that I feel could be improved. For one, the way to remove the microphone from the stand is a little tedious. You have to squeeze two wire hooks together to loose the stands grip on the mic. You got to press pretty hard and even so it is difficult to slide the mic out. Which I suppose is both a blessing and a curse. It certainly doesn’t slide out when recording! I really appreciated the length of the usb cord provided. My computer tends to be quite noisy when recording so it is helpful to be able to keep the computer farther away from the mic when recording. It isn’t great at capturing quieter sounds but overall I would recommend this mic.

Price is right. The quality of the microphone is pretty good for the price.

This mic is really good quality, made with metal and not plastic like some of the competition. The shock mount, mic itself, and accessories are really good quality and the recording quality without any editing is stellar. I am really impressed with this mic! I record my podcast with this mic in my apartment and have no issues with background noise or white noise (as long as I'm away from my fridge or dishwasher), and it doesn't sound tinny. It's an EXCELLENT mic for the price. My two cons for this product: 1. The provided tripod is a little small and doesn't balance the mic well. I'd suggest mounting this mic on your own stand or desk mount. 2. It *definitely* needs a pop filter, which is not provided, so be ready to purchase one or have one handy.
