Works as expected.
This adapter works as expected. It allows me to use my original 58mm Canon MR macro ring flash on my new 67mm RF 100mm macro lens. The construction seem sturdy and not some cheap plastic. I only wish it wasn't as expensive.

Canon to Canon adaptor needed
Simple product to provide the ability to connect the macro led light to my 100 mm macro lens. I would have hoped that the canon to canon connection would not need an adaptor, but it does. Also, I thought I would leave it on the lens, but the lens cap will not fit once the adaptor is on. So I will only use the adaptor if I want to use the macro light.

A Must Have
If you buy the Canon MT-26EX-RT Macro Flash for your Canon 100mm macro lense, you will have to have this piece to make it work on the lens.

needed for my MR-14EX
When I bought my Canon MR-14 EX ring flash I needed an adapter to attach to my lens. this one works on two of my lenes. It's sturdy fit makes a secure hold for my macro lite.

This sort of thing should either come with the macro light OR the macro light description should indicate that it is needed.

Macrolite Adapter - Lens Cap won't fit
Pro: Nice construction, easily attaches to camera lens and to flash.
Con: When adapter is in place, lens cap cannot be used.

Canon Macrolite adaptor
Adapter works perfect. Nice aluminum construction. Would be 5 stars, but should have been included with a $900+ L macro lens (Canon 2.8L IS)

Essential Adapter
This adapter makes it possible to attach either of athe Canon macro flashes - either the twin head or the ringflash. It's a tad pricey, but essential if you want to do serious macro photography.
