I use this printer for proofs and mock-ups for my clients. The color and crisp edges are remarkable for this price range. Would recommend this printer to my colleagues.

For all that I've done, this printer has been excellent. Photos are sharp and their color is very realistic. Text looks great, also. While not as versatile as a multifunction printer, it makes up for it in print quality. Size is the only disadvantage that I see, since the printer is large.

I am not a computer or camera expert, and I still think this printer is easy to use and set up. I have printed pictures in a variety of sizes and on a variety of paper types and they all come out great. I have also used three different photo editing programs to print photos. Although I admit that the photos come out slightly different colors from the different programs, they have so far been completely acceptable, at least to my untrained eye. It prints quite a bit more slowly than any printer I have owned before, but the picture quality is well worth my wait. Love it.

Obviously everyone got this for free from all of the rebate offers, I don't think I would pay much for it, just because of the high ink cost. If you are doing infrequent prints it's cheaper to go to a professsional

I bought this printer because I've always had good luck with Canon and their products plus there was a $200 rebate. When I got it set up and started using it I was really, really impressed with the overall quality of the printing. I print a lot of photos and this printer does most photos better than the developer I have used for years. The only bad thing I can say about the printer is that it's slow to print, but for the quality I get out of it that's really not an issue! Would buy this again and have recommended it to everyone I know.

I got this product as a combo with my canon t4i for a rebate of 400$. Its been easy to use and good for printing photos. But I would on any given day buy a 2 in printer which covers all my needs than this one.

Best printer that I found that would print 13 x 19 prints. Great on both black and white and color. I smile every time that I use it. If the ink was free, it would be perfect.

My last 13" printer did 13x44 panoramic. Really miss that. But this printer seems built a whole lot better and make's great print's. I would have to split hairs about the quality of prints between other printer's. Made my first 13x19 photo's with this printer and boy are they nice. Only thing not so great is lack of panoramic.

This is truly an amazing printer. Color print quality is just phenomenal. I use the Boderless print feature a lot. It's a fairly large printer, so make sure you have room for it on your desk. Black and white prints are average. The 9500 is probably a better option for black and whites.

This is not the very best printer on the market, but it is a very good printer. It is also a great deal with the rebate. I think you can not get a better value if you are willing to jump through the rebate hoops. Yes, it uses ink and that is expensive to replace, but they all are. I use this to print my best pictures, as the pharmacy is not ok for good stuff.

I wanted a photo printer to do the occasional family event photo. Having used the Epson 1400(which I liked) I decided on the Canon Pixma Mark II because of the lesser ink consumption and the less expensive ink cartridges. Added incentive was the $200.00 rebate on this item.

I use to print my photos. I like the ability to get quality prints at home. My time is scarce so being able to print at home saves me time waiting at the stores that offer photo service. I can still crop or edit photos and then print them.

The Canon Pro9000 Mark II is a very good printer. The photo reproduction is outstanding. The printer will use some ink so be particular with what you print. The ability to use special papers and large format paper is a definite plus using this printer.

I have the same printer at home for personal and semi-pro usage. The print output is great. I have now added one where I work. Excellent for quick turnaround photo prints. Great color output. I am not sure of the longevity of the prints if displayed on a wall but I am a bit skeptical.

My previous 13X19 printer would print panoramas up to 44 inches. I knew the Pixma would not do this when I purchased it, but I still miss the ability to make panoramas. It will print up to 22 inches, but Canon does not supply any paper that long. The 8 ink tanks run out at different times, but I suppose that is caused by my choices of things to print. The red tank is seldom used, so I'm not sure why Canon includes it. Replacement ink is costly, but that seems to be the case of all the printers with which I am familiar. Canon says it will print on many other papers besides theirs, and so far that appears to be true. Everything else about the printer is entirely satisfactory.

I've read about minor complaints regarding size of printer and ink consumption but overall, you couldn't ask for a better photo printer. The best part is YOU are in total control of your prints, not someone in a lab who doesn't know what your preferences are or even care. If top quality, professional prints are what you want, this is the printer for you.

Easy to set up and easy to use. Only issue I have is the first page printed after its been sitting for a while is extremely slow, but pages after that print fast. Print quality is great. Ink is expensive like all printers.

Big, Quality,Boarderless Prints
By MjB P.
I needed to print my wildlife photos big, and I needed to do it myself rather than farm it out. I've used Canon printers for over 20 years! This 9000 MK II is the best yet. The 13 x 19 borderless prints are wonderful. This weekend I framed a 13 x 19 of a Bullock's Oriole, and it is the best....period. These big, beautiful prints will sell for me. Thank You Canon.......again.

To be used for printing large photos (13x19,17x11,11x14 etc.)at home instead of having a lab do them. After using a competors printer for some time this printer is outstanding, the...
