This is my first introduction into perspective controlling lenses. I have enjoyed learning how to use this lens. I think for those wanting to get into this arena, this is the lens to start with if you are interested in landscapes. The lens is well built and the dials, granted are on the small side, move the lens with confidence. I opt'ed for the Mark I version because of my inexperience with tilt shift lens. The Mark II version is plus an addition a grand. This is a fun lens to own.

As I was advised, there is a learning curve with a Tilt Shift lens (and I am still learning!) but so far, it's a fun learning curve! Very well built, sturdy lens when used properly gives excellent quality photos! And when not tilting & shifting it's a great WA on my 5D!

I think this lens is a good lens, but only if you're doing some kind of photography, you will have good vibes with architecture, landscape, still life... but think very weel before buying it

Compact, wide-angle lens which enables tilt and shift movements. The floating optical system, with an aspherical lens element, corrects distortion and other aberrations. High image quality and compactness are the result. Great for architecture, landscapes and other wide-angle shots.
