The build quality of this bag is excellent, and it has become my primary camera bag for most situations. It doesn't hold as much equipment as my previous backpack style camera bag, but that has caused me to re evaluate what I "really" need to have with me on the majority of photography events. Previously I carried a lot of unnecessary gear (and weight that typically "wasn't" used, just because I could fit it all into the backpack. Now,I routinely carry (in the sling bag) a Canon 50D with a 28 135mm lens on the camera body, along with a Canon 70 200mm lens, a Canon 2x extender, Canon 580EXII Speedlight, and various accessories. The sling style bag is a lot easier to get on & off than my previous Canon backpack style bag, and while I don't normally "wear" the sling bag while I'm shooting, on those occasions where I have worn it throughout a shoot, it is quite comfortable and convenient to use, i.e. change out lenses without having to take the sling bag off. Doing THAT was simply not an option with the backpack style bag!The loops & closures built into to the exterior of the sling bag also make carrying a tripod or monopod easy.

It is an excellent camera case, however I would prefer it to be a bit larger as I tend to use it as a carry on when travelling.

I love it!! The only think that I would add is another strap on the bottom of it to secure the tripod,in that way when you slide the bag in front of you, the tripod is not hanging and maybe hit you in certain parts of your body. Other than that, is a great bag for me and my camera. Thank You!!

This case is exactly what I needed. I am taking digital photography classes and also use it for travel. Worked perfectly for trip to Boundary Waters Canoe Area, where it not only needed to protect camera but Keep it dry too. A strap on it did break but the no hassle exchange policy and I had brand new one in hand in like 2 3 days with little effort and no postage charges for me. This a a great case and a company to deal with. I will be recommending Case Logic cases.

So far it is excellent. Have been looking for the right size for my equipment that I take on the road. This is the best yet! The construction seems good. Will see how the seams and zippers hold up after a couple years of use. If they do then I'll be buying another one to have for the future. I've already recommended this model to a couple photographers I hang with.

This is an awesome bag, great protection for any SLR! Spacious room with adjustable pads. Easy access to the camera and lens, so you will not miss the perfect moment for a perfect shot. Lots pockets for memory cards, batteries and other accessories. Great for travel or a walk to the park. Strongly recommend!

I bought my bag about six months ago. Since then I have had it on a two week trip to Sri Lanka and a six week trip to Australia and New Zealand. In addition I have used it extensively at home in Thailand. My main interests are travel and wildlife photograph and it caters for that really well. I particularly like the way it allows me to safely change lenses, even when bouncing around in the back of a Land Rover. In the main compartment I carry my Canon 60D with a 17 to 55 mm lens attached; a canon 70 to 200 mm f4 L lens with lens hood attached (but reversed, a 1.4 X multiplier and a set of three Kenko extension tubes. I can also keep a Canon Speedlight 270EX II in there, if I think that I might need it in a hurry. In the padded cover to the main compartment I keep a spare battery, a spare card and a polarising filter. The outermost front pocket is normally empty except when I am travelling; then I keep my Passport and tickets there along with any other documents I might need access to. In the main front pocket I keep a torch, spare batteries for the torch and flashgun, cleaning gear and a pen. That leaves plenty of room; when travelling I normally keep a book in there as well. There is an internal zip up compartment in there that I haven't found a use for yet! In the top pocket I carry a battery charger, a second torch, some plastic bags and of course, the case's own waterproof cover. I also keep a Black Rapid camera strap in there, for the occasions that I want to leave the case behind and just carry a camera with one lens. That leaves plenty of room to stuff in a wallet, watch, mobile phone, coins and anything else that might present a problem when going through Security at airports. I don't normally travel with a rigid tripod, but I took a flexible "gorilla' to Sri Lanka. It wasn't particularly happy with the tripod carrying system, but I think that was because of its flexible nature; I'm sure that a rigid tripod would be happier. If not carrying a tripod the pocket comes in handy and will take my flashgun. Because this is sling bag, as opposed to a backpack, it does put a lot of pressure on the left shoulder and after carrying it around for a day I begin to notice that, but it is a small price to pay for the convenience that the sling design provides. It happily fits into the overhead locker on most planes, I've had it on fourteen flights.

Hello I received this item today via UPS. Beautiful design and a place for everything I need for a day of photography with my Nikon and 28 200 lens.Howver; ad beautiful as it looks, and as full of pockets as it is . . . there are really NO INSTRUCTIONS as how to wear it. The little pictures cannot be understood, and I have wasted over an hour attempting every configuration I can see from the small photos.Sorry . . . I think it goes back ASAP!

The Camera Sling is everything that I expected from Case Logic. The Sling has lots of room even with the Camera's standard 18 55mm lens attached and an extra 55 200mm lens. The bag is very comfortable to wear but still attaches securely to your body. I?ve always trusted this brand with my CD?s and GPS unit so it wasn't hard for me to decide on another Case Logic product from my Nikon D5100. Thank you for making great products.

The first time i glanced my eyes on the bag, i knew it was the right one for me and my DSLR. I used it in my first workshop of photography and it fit me well, the appearance is he coolest! Nice design, good texture and i am sure my DSLR is happy too. He sits well inside with no hassles. I am sure we felt the same when we have the case logic design bag. SO AWESOME! So COOL! Nice bag case logic! Thumbs up and more good bags!

This bag is a must have if you have a bunch of gear. Here's my real world take... It swallowed up my D7100 (top compartment) and my d300s (main compartment) both with lenses attatched . I STILL had room to store a charger for the camera, a 18-200 lens, flash, in the main with room in there to spare. Lets not forget there's still 2 more compartments in the front and the tripod pouch. But there's a downside. The bag is an awkward carry when laden with gear.. On day one of my purchase the zipper pull came off. Easily fixed by reseating it and closing the zipper connection with plyers (which the consumer shouldnt have to do. This bag feels awkward even with just my camera in it. Great capacity but the design department messed up with comfort for regular use being that I do a LOT of paparazzi work, I need a bag that is comfortable. It's utilitarian at best, designed to fit your gear so you can go with it but not so you can be totally comfortable carrying it around.

This bag turned out to be bulkier than I thought it would be and it did not fit well. I will stick with my nonsling camera backpack until I can try one in person at a store.

This bag did not fit right for me and it was too bulky. I'm going to continue to use my Kata backpack until I can find a sling bag that will work for me.
