I am not a fan. The holder works fine and the glass filters work but they are difficult to keep clean. they attract a lot of dust and sticks pretty good.

Happy with them
I haven't used all of the filters yet but do use the lighter ones quite a bit. They're perfect for landscapes when shooting on a bright day.

Disappointing Performance
The filter assembly generates vigneting for focal lengths below 28-30mm (full frame). Antireflection coatings do not attenuate flares effectively. Stacking multiple filters together multiplies flares.

Just okay
I bought this set to just to get started with landscape photography but I hate the fact that this lens gives a purple/brownish color cast on the photos. Things would get worse if you stack them on top of the other and the photo would be useless.
I agree with other reviewers, you can use this to get started, probably to see if filter photography is really for your taste. I will be keeping this but would be most likely give to others who want to get started. The colors are really bad and I wouldn't recommend this for those who want to get serious.

These are for people who want to get into filtered photography with out breaking the bank. the filter holder works well and the step rings also work well if you buy those. The filters themselves are okay. they do soften your images a little more than i'd like but i can compensate in post. These things scratch SUPER easy too though. make sure you get a right proper filter case for them.

First purchase of GND filters
I bought these as in the past I've only used solid GND filters. I'm now spending time on shooting streams and waterfalls in the woods. The GND filters make for some nice effects and the Cokin system is easy to change to meet my needs.

A bit small for 77mm lenses if wide angle
The mount will interfere when using wide angle lenses.

I've been using Cokin filters for years and have always had good luck with them.
Five stars for now only used a few times on a cruise but pics are great and quality of filter is good.
