Feels like it?s limited on usage.
For its size, it sucks that it?s only 47wh. Great for pocket cameras and mounting on the bottom of the camera for small run n gun builds. Not a product recommended for professionals, but great for passion/hobbyists. Although, this is actually great for leaving on my camera cart to charge phones. Two USB ports are a nice touch for that very reason!

Power drain issues
Even in sleep mode, this battery pack loses power and is not worth the risk for lengthy off the grid filming.

Works like a charm!

An essential purchase!
This battery was an essential purchase for my bmpcc 6k. It’s durable, reliable, and sturdy. I was worried it would feel awkward underneath my camera with a SmallRig attached but it worked out perfectly. In fact, the extra weight on my camera helped me with having a more steady hand when shooting handheld footage.

Core SWX PowerBase for BM Pocket 6K
We used this for our BM Pocket 6K, and it was great! The 6K is pretty power hungry, but we were still able to get 2.5 - 3 hours of battery life!

Excellent battery solution for your BMPCC!
Wow! This is the perfect match for your BMPCC and monitor. I get almost four hours of run time on my 4K. The quick connection to the plate works great and there is no play at all. It feels solid and only ways 1 lb. I will be picking up another one of these soon for long day shoots,

An absolute must buy
Absolutely love this Powerbase. You can attach it to the base of many things that are already in the arsenal like the DJI Ronin S, shoulder and tripod. I rarely use the batteries for my GH5 or Blackmagic. I have this and get many hours. I get about 3 and half to 4 hours on the BlackMagic and about 9 hours using it with my GH5

Perfect!!!
Perfect!!! Does what it supposed to do. Rather than constantly changing batteries, I am able to shoot footage without worrying about running out of power for my BMPCC 4K. Fit right into my rig setup. Very pleased with this purchase and highly recommend.

Power in a brick
The Core SWX PowerBase EDGE is a definite accessory if your using the BMPC6K because the battery life on the standard battery is like 20 mins. on a good day. The EDGE will supply you with around 3 hours of power. I just did a 5 hour shoot and the battery lasted almost the entire day. It does add about 1lb or more on the the weight of to the camera so hand held would get old quick. Two things to note is it does take about 2.5 hours to charge the battery up fully. Also I noticed that the battery lost about 20% of power over 4 days just sitting there not connected to anything so make sure you charge it a day before you use it.

Good expensive power source
Must have power source for black magic packet cinema. Did not give 5 starts because of the price. This unit should cost around $100

Recently, I purchased this product along with the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema camera. I highly recommend this additional V-Mount kit for the BMPCC 6K, because it drastically extends battery life by %80!

Maybe the lightest weight V-Mount Battery ?
We love it. We use a Black Magic Pocket Cinema Camera 6k on a Ronin MX gimbal/stabilizer. We attach this battery to the Ronin and power the camera, follow-focus, and monitor.. It's light enough that it doesn't interfere with the operation of the Ronin and it's a beautiful thing not to have to constantly fiddle with multiple batteries for the various devices..

Decent battery solution if you can get it for cheap.
It is a little unwieldy and the price point is a bit high considering it is a low powered v mount but it is a good solution for now.

I can't imagine using a BMPCC4k without it
This should be listed as a essential for BMPCC 4K, I am very pleased that Adorama sells it as a kit. This seems expensive just as a battery, but it will replace buying a v mount battery plate, and hardware to attach the plate and keep your setup lighter.
Besides the standard v-mount, this also has it's own quick release attachment adapter so you can easily remove the battery from the camera when not in use.
