Very nice picture, clear and sharp. The new computer I recently bought needed an HDMI cable to connect, and my old monitor wouldn't work, so I chose this one because I have a small space to put the monitor. This one fit perfectly. It has the ability to move up or down on the stand to fit the space.

The monitor is great. HOWEVER, they did not send a DP cord with the monitor and I spent 3 days talking with tech support etc. Finally I called sales and they got me the correct cords. Your instruction sheet is Horrible. Bad pictures, and no written. I still have my first Dell computer manual and it is so detailed and excellent. Some of Dell's quality and gone downhill.

This is an excellent square monitor that will support our older practice management software. Most of the monitors are widescreen and don't look good with our system. The adjustable height is clever and easy to use.

Came with a VGA to VGA cable which has no way to connect my recently purchased XPS 9850 desktop. Thus, had to purchase a VGA to HDMI cable separately. Once delivery is made, I'll be able to rate the monitor. However, I don't suspect there will be a problem.

Previous Dell 19" monitor lasted 15 years then on/off button would not work. Purchased this 19" monitor as replacement. A new improvement is this one has a swivel base (previous had a fixed base). Sharp picture, comes on quickly, doesn't take up much space. Recommend!

An excellent monitor for home or business. I have bought a few hundred of these over the years and never had an issue. Clear and sharp along with USB connections, you can't go wrong with these 4/3 monitors from Dell!

I retired my 10 year old Dell 1708FP & moved up to the P1917S. It's a great unit & really helped with my 75 year old vision. It has numerous settings with extreme clarity for text & photo creation software. The widescreen monitors do not provide the screen dimensions I enjoy. I'm thrilled that Dell produces a 5:4 monitor of this quality!

it easily flips left or right: 5x4 or 4x5. I connect via hdmi to labtop. It works. Good for keeping labtop farther away from eyes. I prefer the square monitors rather than widescreen.

Decent enough color. Not dripping, but functional. Set up easily as second monitor with Mac. It is nice to be able to get a squarish monitor for second screen arrangement. Takes less space. Adjustable height and angle is nice as are USB ports.

Great for reading. I use it for reading PDF files and books from amazon kindle and my eyes never tired especially when I set the color mode to Cool. It's bright and crisp!

Replaces my 20" Dell monitor with this 19" Dell monitor. The old unit put out up to 75 watts of heat, while the new one is more like 17 watts, is thinner and lighter, I found that anything larger for a computer monitor bothered my eyes, and did not provide any additional visual benefits. It's just the perfect size, and great quality
