Unit shut down after six months of usage maybe the protection circuit trigger due to an amplifier failure or a component failure; the red light keeps blinking

Recently purchased my X3800H and it arrived very fast. Setting it up was just as easy as my old denon. Crazy the sound difference from my old one, this receiver sounds great

Sound quality is excellent but the UI could be better. The earc interface cycles in and out to a black screen while trying to run through setup options while connected to my Sony OLED display. On the plus side the refurb looked like new.

Owned it for about 3 weeks. I am very happy. Everything works as expected so far and I am enjoying all the different ways to experience great music. I cannot see any defects and to me it looks as if it is brand new.

Already own a S970H Denon receiver. I purchased the X3800H receiver due to the expanded Atmos speaker options and the increased wattage. I enjoy both units and perhaps I'm deceiving myself because the X3800H cost more but there definitely seems to be additional stage presentation and sound separation with the new unit. I am most happy with my purchase.

Great choice to connect six components smoothly including the units of radio and all the multiple apps. Fits into a smart TV with one HDMI cable for seven speaker sets (and three subwoofers). Look forward to many years of service beyond the warranty.

I am very pleased with it -- so user friendly to set up -- I am using it as a 7. 2. 4 system -- Odyssey set up is great and then I manually adjusted the tone on my surround speakers so they were a bit higher

I decided to make a switch from the power house yamaha rxa2080.. was worried I would be dissatisfied but I was wrong. I prefer the warmer tone of denon and the UI/audyssey. Also wanted it for future proofing and the ability to turn off the internal amps to utilize my external amps better. Pros: 8k 60fps and 4k 120fps Powerful warm sound Many options UI Cons: Need to pay for app to utilize important features.. low blow Same goes for Dirac live Reference has unwanted high roll-off with no option to change Multi eq app is hard to adjust using phone

Upgrading from 2800H to Soundstage. It's very clear and has a great soundstage. All in all it is a very nice receiver with a lot of features. It definitely needs more power though, for large floor speakers. I'll be utilizing those preouts, in the near future.

So far everything is working great I have two 2 annoying issues. While using the mic setup sometimes it thinks the speakers are not plugged in correctly or at all but they definitely are. The other issue is that it has you download 3 or 4 apps. Why cant there just be one app.

Works better than expected, super easy setup, the microphone sound test with Audyssey produced perfect results for our room with high ceilings. Couldn't be happier and think we're setup pretty good future proof for 8k, etc.

Everything I threw at it sounded great while it lasted. Love the dual sub outs. Too bad it lasted less than a year when it just stopped powering on. Pretty disappointed that holiday family movie time will have no surround sound. Bought this to enable atmos listening to replace my old Pioneer, which still works.
