Returned it. Had too many problems with it right out of the box. If you have time to play around with trying to update firmware etc go for it, ain't got time for time stuff, I need it to work when I need it to work and not spending time trying to get it to work correctly.

Received promptly. As with all DJI products I've purchased, the construction, detail, and tech seemed flawless. I was concerned about getting an "old" product (as of 09/2018 this is an orphaned product) that was on closeout. But this seemed like a fresh product. Software loaded/updated without problem and EVEN works flawlessly on the new Apple iOS v.12.0 software. I also managed to get it to run on an iPod Touch 6th gen. ! First images of grandson's 20 minute swimming lesson was perfect. although I made the mistake of filming in 4K.... it took HOURS to load into iMovie.

Mine broke within a few days of receiving it. I only had maybe a total of an hours worth of video. It had the gimbal lock problem like a few guys on youtube. If you search it you'll know what I mean. I tried updating the firmware but still didn't work. Very disappointing. I returned it and bought a GoPro Hero 4 Black instead.

I mainly use this camera for Vlogging, and have a very good experience so far. The camera does a good job keeping movements smooth, and the battery lasts a surprisingly long time for its size (1-2 hours of use for me). If you happen to need extras, they are surprisingly cheap at only ($) a piece. That being said, I have come across a few software things that I hope DJI will fix in one of their uodates. 1. There is not a simple microphone adjustment on the main screen, so if I suddenly go from a quiet store to a load street, the mic can sometimes clip, resulting in loss of sometimes good audio bits. 2. The camera will automatically flip to allow you to hold it facing up or down. It's incredibly useful for getting cool shots, but the video does not switch orientation to match, so you have to edit this out. 3. The camera requires constant (by constant I mean pretty much every time you turn the camera back on) re-leveling so that your shots aren't slightly angled. Otherwise, the footage is great. Low-light shooting isn't the best, but that's to be expected with a sensor this small. I think the best way to sum it up: a decent point-and-shoot camera on a gimbal.

Its a great complement to the rest of the gear that you own, to capture some movements shoots, whitout having to break the bank. It will give your story telling that extra punch you need.

I'm a Real Estate Photographer, it's not wide enough for what I need, but great steady hand held camera for pretty much everything else.

Mine came DOA. No video feed no functions on the handset, etc. I own a DJI Phantom 3, not Phantom 1, not Phantom 2. I think it'll take another iteration of OSMO to work things out

The Osmo Gimbal and Camera is specially built for the Osmo. It can be locked to protect its inner mechanical structure when not in use. It's capable of recording 4K video and capturing 12 megapixel still photos, with a 94deg.wide-angle prime lens, capturing clear and crisp images with minimal distortion. When used with the DJI GO app, you get access to intelligent shooting modes like Automatic Panorama and Timelapse. The Osmo Gimbal and Camera is not compatible with the Inspire 1.
