Ideal way to use the Osmo+ for continuous recording, where weight is not an issue, keeping in mind that there is also a 29 minute maximum before needing to restart a recording (codec licensing limitation), and a 2.5 hour recording limit to each 64GB microSD card. A P4 drone battery hooked up to this device will last for well over 5 hours of recording, eliminating the other limitation of the roughly 1 hour limit of each of the tiny internal batteries that this replaces. I record an entire round of golf with the Osmo+ mounted onto my push cart with a bike mount and using a Z-axis for stabilty over rough ground on the course. Golf push cart makes a great video dolly!

I've never liked DJI batteries because they just don't last long enough and this one isn't any different but it's the only one out there for now. We should be getting at least 1 hour and don't.

The Osmo external battery extender is designed to prolong the operating time of the Osmo by connecting to external power sources such as a dedicated DJI charger or Intelligent Battery. It is ideal for using the Osmo in extended period operations such as timelapse.
Note:
If using a DJI Intelligent Battery as the power supply, a Battery (10 PIN-A or 2 PIN) to DC Power Cable is required.
