Solid device

Well built, but it takes some getting used to. It helps Z axis movement a lot, but the camera still bobs if you literally run around with your osmo, so it is not 100% magic. Still, it lessens the need for the 'ninja walk.' The downside of being well built is that it significantly adds to the weight of the osmo, which makes long shoots a little more tiring. Still, overall it is a device I recommend for improving the recording quality.

Great addition

This is a great add-on for your Osmos, makes for butter smooth walking videos. Adorama did a great job with customer service! I had to return the 1st one as it wouldn't work. However Adorama made it super simple and I got my replacement within 2 days.

The Osmo Pro/RAW Z-Axis can significantly reduce vertical shaking from natural arm movements when walking or jogging. It is compatible with the Zenmuse X5/X5R gimbal and camera.
