This works perfectly. The osmo pocket is a great camera. Its a shame this doesn't automatically come with it, but it works great.

It works well with some mics, but you have to play around with the settings a lot. Here was my experience with 3 mics: - Saramonic SR-XM1: Great, especially in Auto mode. This is probably the most convenient way to increase the sound quality of the Osmo Pocket without adding bulky/clunky external equipment. This mic makes the adapter work, despite flaws with other mics. - Rode Wireless Go: Turn up the gain on both devices to near max, then check the levels. Otherwise, the levels will be too low, even though the Rode tends to be pretty hot (clips easily) on other devices. Ultimately too frustrating for me, just use an external recorder like the Zoom H1n - Sennheiser ME 2-II: Didn’t work at all, even at max gain. I’ve heard similar for other non-powered lav mics. Hopefully DJI improves this in a future version, as a wired lav is a perfect fit for the Osmo Pocket! Just use an external recorder, again.

Osmo Pocket Stabilized Handheld Camera
38.2 x 12.4 x 9.8mm (1.50 x 0.49 x 0.39")
The 3.5mm Adapter allows the user to plug in an external 3.5mm microphone into Osmo Pocket for higher-quality sound recording. It's recommended to use Audio-Technica atr-6550, Rode VideoMic Pro, Rode VideoMicro, Azden sgm-990, Sennheiser MKE400, Sony ecm-ds70p, DJI fm-15 FlexiMic and other mainstream brands with 3.5mm microphones.
