DJI Drones.
This is my 6th drone and 4th Spark. I also have a DJI Air and the new DJI Mavic Pro, besides 4 spark drones.

Spark Colo
We've no previous experience, watched a few videos, and the DJI Spark seemed the best item for our wants. Ease of learning and use, features and completeness so we could take it out of the box then go fly. The DJI Spark was all that and then some. The instruction pamphlets although tiny were fine in regards to procedure and related easily due to using our phone for many of the functions. The features are numerous and we haven't used very many although one feature presented itself and that is the Spark's ability to land safely when we...lost control by flying it to the opposite side of the house low, near the ground. So Cool! Video playback and picture quality are great and the elevated vantage points are wonderful. Could not be happier!

Better than Expected
I took it out every evening this week and tried it under a variety of light conditions. It performed very well for the price point. Connecting it to my Samsung Galaxy S9+ and the remote was quick by scanning the qr code with the app. 1/10 of a second shutter speeds in flight were very clear. The included photo is at 1/10 shutter speed, f2.6, iso 519. The shot was at during blue hour on a cloudless evening.
The only thing I wish it had was the ability to shoot raw.

The DJI Spark is a great drone!
The Spark was my second drone. I previous used the Yuneec Breeze 4K. The Spark is in a whole different category! The video and stills are much better stabilized and the controller allows for much greater flight difference, I am using a bracket so I can use the controller with an I Pad Air. The fly more combo is a perfect was way to get started, since an additional battery and charger is a must. I would recommend adding a third battery! I also have an AC outlet power bank for charging on the go. I highly recommend this item!

Great performance. Buggy app. Worthless gestures.
Gestures are just plain unreliable. The app is extremely buggy. Firmware updates can be tricky (because the app doesn't work properly). If you can get past all that, it's actually a really nice little drone for the price. I really don't see a reason to get the Mavic instead of this. The camera isn't that much better. If you are worried about video quality, get the P4 pro. The Mavic isn't a huge step up from the Spark. The Spark is cheaper as an initial purchase, and accessories and batteries are also much cheaper. Once they get the bugs worked out, this will be an awesome little toy.
