Amazing piece of gear. It makes shooting handheld enjoyable. Should have bought one years ago. As a freelance op, I love being able to adjust the weight to any cam package. A little expensive but cheaper than shoulder surgery

Build quality is unbelievable! Highly recommend the addition of a Kong clamp and 3/8 eye bolt (see photo). Glad I was advised by both my DP contact/friends that use easyrigs to go with the gimbal vest even though I don’t use a gimbal. Also glad I bit the bullet and have what seems to be the most future proof option in the easyrig lineup (Vario 5 w/9” arm). Thank you easyrig FOR INCLUDING PRINTED INSTRUCTIONS!...not sure why so many manufacturers don’t do this any more. Those instructions made it so I could start shooting for my clients the day after I received the rig. Way easier than I expected to get used to using. This is a must for any DP over forty that shoots off the shoulder a lot, especially if using cameras over 20lbs. My Alexa Mini built up for me is just shy of 30.

It's a bit pricey, I know. However, it's the right tool for the job. I am pleased with my purchase and this will serve me for years to come. Some investments are flashy (new cameras, lenses) some make you look like a dope while wearing it (the easyrig), but will prolong your shooting career and help you turn out better results. That's what the Vario 5 is. I love the wide range of camera weights you can put on it, from small packages up to gimbals with a decent payload.
