We're pleased to announce release 4.7.0 for our Pearl family of all-in-one switching, recording, and streaming systems!
New featuresKaltura integration
Integration with Kaltura means that customers can seamlessly use Pearl to automatically record scheduled VOD events, record manual (ad hoc) events, and schedule webcasts. Multi-view events are supported with the resulting files uploaded automatically to Kaltura.
International character support in text overlays
Support for common international characters is added to text overlays that you create using the Layout Editor.
Firmware 4.7.0 also includes a few important fixes:
Chroma key color sampling
In 4.6.0, the eye dropper used to sample colors for chroma keying would sometimes stop working properly. This has been fixed in 4.7.0.
Epiphan Support Plans
This product comes with a one year limited warranty and one year of telephone and email support. Epiphan offers two extended support plans for this product.
