Used Fender 1951 Telecaster Neck, Fat "U" Shape, Narrow Tall Frets, 9.5", Maple

I bought this on the ninth of this month (February 9, 2023) and waited until it came in as it was backordered. Overall finish is pretty spot on for Fender except around the holes for the machine heads. There are tiny rub marks from the buffing wheel. But otherwise in immaculate condition. Genuine Fender Replacement stamped on the heel with an official Fender Telecaster logo on the headstock with a serial number on the back of it. The frets are a tiny bit sharp on the edges as you rub your hands up and down from one end to the other. But this can be easily remedied with 600 grit wet-or-dry sandpaper and a block. The nut is pre-slotted but accurate in spacing. The edges along the fretboard and headstock are a little too square and could be rounded more. All holes except the string guide are drilled and this is ready for mounting. I would consider this more of a four out of five just for the frets otherwise It would be higher. I have another Fender neck and the edges are more rounded as opposed to this one which is so squared as if once machined it's only been lightly sanded then finished. Not a bad deal but with a little more finesse and fine sanding and finishing along the frets and fretboard this would have been a five star rating. Get one today before they either stop making them or the price goes up!
